I am so mad right now:furious:!! IF EB wrote these letters they just show how self absorbed she is! To complain about missing Halloween when this child has been thrown out like trash is beyond my comprehension!! :furious:

The reason behind my post was WHY would someone just random doodle what she did? Has to be a reason! Is their anyone who is Gothic that may shed some light on the doodles?

It does..off in the corner. She's sending a shout out to her grandson, not addressing the author. I just read her own words saying Damien was her grandchild.

Sorry to belabor the point, I'm just trying to make very sure we aren't confusing people.

I took it as the person's name she is writing to is Damien and she's relating to him later in the letter that she also has a grandchild with that same middle name......JMO

I agree. I think it's at least a possibility. Unless of course someone on here is the receiver of this letter and can say "no, my name is not Damien".

Good idea, cuz I'm confused! LOL
OK, so then she knew this was going to press.

LOL, sorry, Sarx. I just knew the grandson's name was Damien. I didn't realize that the website author just happened to have chosen that same name as his alias. (What are the odds, eh?)

I think she is being told he is going to be re arrested to make her feel LE is on her side so she coughs up the beans so to speak. The more she talks and writes letters the more she implicates the both of them. Clearly, she is not doing well with incarceration and LE knows she isn't. The letters suggest that. Her innuendos of the crime being horrific that"he" did are very telling. To me it smacks of knowledge of a crime.

Yep. That would be "accessory after the fact" and probably conspiracy of some sort at best, and she'd be facing the same charges as if she just fessed up in the first place.

Keep writing EB, keep writing.

She is not Gothic! She is a 42 yr. old trying to appear young and doing what she thinks is "hip and young" to appear that way.

Looks like (from the letters) some posters here called the water bed correctly.

I hate to even ask this but in the other cases, don't the Jail folks go through the incoming and outgoing mail?

I don't know if they can actually open it and read it. There are rules on what can and can't be sent from someone -- paper letters only -- no books or anything else. They do keep a log of who they receive letters from and who they send letters to but I don't know if they can read them as it's considered US mail and I think that prisoners still have the right to private correspondence.

I hate to say this, and maybe I should put in the NG rant thread but...

Don't you know that some of the more histrionic MSM loves the fact that these letters, reference to goth, paganism, etc in this case is 'excited' about the segue (sp) into this case of the missing goth teen who was looking up vampire sites? I am just waiting for some wingnut caller to ask if these 2 cases are related!

That "we didn't really kill her" part boils my blood......REALLY, as opposed to what? You only half killed her or you only knocked her out and she chose not to wake up? What did you do Elisa, Elesa or whatever your name is?

You have no rights to privacy in jail, unless you are communicating with your attorney, or as hippa provides protection of your medical records.

You can violate those privileges and make the communications public as well, but that is the privacy they are afforded.

Just because the letter made it to the sender doesn't mean it wasn't read, copied, and logged as evidence. It is in LE's best interest to keep her talking as much as she would like to.

If someone were to refer to the "Dudley Area".......that would be around Dudley Shoals Rd. right? A local business just posted on the fb for hunters in that area to report anything suspicious.

Correct. Dudley Shoals is actually a small community east of Hudson. Church, elementary school, homes, etc... Includes Dudley Shoals Rd., Burns Rd. and others. So I don't believe they are referring only to the area off Dudley Shoals Rd. It would be anywhere in the vicinity. IMO

After LetterGate, do you think her fancypants lawyers will fire her :) ?

No, I think they will use these lunatic letters to support an insanity defense. Because most people would assume that no one who is psychologically healthy could show such an unemotional reaction to the death of a child close to them, even if they had nothing to do with the death. Let alone supposedly having witnessed something "horrifying" done to the child after death, by one's own "wonderful husband", whom she is now *considering* possibly divorcing.

Okay, so I am finally caught up. My thoughts on the alleged EB letters

1) nice catch to the posters who speculated the hose out the BR window was related to a possible draining of waterbed. I know several of you mentioned that possibility, and I am sorry I don't recall your names now. Good job! Also great work bringing us the scoop locals. IF these letters are indeed from EB or someone who knows her well, the hose thing makes total sense in that context.

2) very immature tone in both letters. Writer is very much an outsider or enjoys being perceived as such at least. Writer is also very adept at seeming girlish and flirty, writing is much younger than EB's actual age. Writer is also slyly asking for money to her account. Writer wants reader to believe she has been wronged, abused, is scared and just an innocent victim forced into this position by AB. Writer implies that she was pressured by LE and AB into confessing the note (implies lack of knowledge/involement in Z) and yet also implies she told LE where to find Z, which would imply complicity.

3) Writer both mitigates by saying we didn't kill Z and then pushes the blame on disposal of Z onto AB and implies it was horrific and scared her.

The comments regarding Z being cancer survivor and Aussie and that being a factor in writer's "persecution" makes me sick and I totally agree with Mrs G Norris about the thought process behind that statement.

The Damien thing: Iread the letters to mean that the reader has introduced himself as Damien, and writer discusses that grandson shares that middle name, writer made SURE of it. To me that suggests she may have already been a FB or other social network friend of this reader and perhaps even that she made sure grandson had that middle name as some sort of nod to this person. OR the reader has chosen that name because reader knows or suspects she will be pleased and trusting of this name because of a shared affinity for a book, movie, etc with a character of that name. OR it is ust happenstance that the reader has named himself as aperson who shares her grandson's middle name.

The part where she talks about MAKING SURE that her grandson received the same middle name caught me for some reason. It seems to mean somethign but I can't niggle out what it is.

If you took these letters out of the context that they are alleged to have been written by EB in jail and if you remove the subject matter and simply listen to the tone, I think that gives us all avery good look at someone proficient at luring relationships from afar, fishing them in.

all of the above is MOO about the letters ALLEGEDLY written by EB in jail release 11-2-10

Speaks volumes to me about her mental/emotional makeup. She thinks like a child, is driven by impulse like a child, and can't for the life of her see the real consequences that might result from any actions she's taken, or failed to take.

I am not so sure... I really have nothing against being "gothic"... I actually understand the attraction, and have lived a part of my life there. It does appeal to those who are "hip and young"... but it is really more about being "immortal" and "above all that is normal".... the problem arises when you encounter a person that is incapable of distinguishing between fantasy and reality. That, I fear, is where EB and, unfortunately, AB found theirselves. Their fantasy life is going to be a big part of this crime. That is how they met, and I doubt they decided "Wow!!! This real life character is SO cool!!! I don't think I need my fantasy life any more!!!" Nope... these two were twisted when they met and are twisted as we speak.

I think the only correspondence that is priveleged is to attys. They can go thru and read all other incoming and outgoing mail to make sure there are no threats, or are sending or receiving contraband. The only way they can do that is if they read it. If they find that then they hold onto it and alert authorities, otherwise they must send it on.

Correct me if I'm wrong

I could care less what she is or who she claims to be...I usually like when ppl march to the beat of their own drum! What I hate is when a child is missing, hurt or murdered by the hands of anyone....Mary Poppins or Mommy Dearest!!!
