From the Helle Crafts link referenced in a previous post:
"Our team's efforts at Lake Zoar eventually led to the discovery of 2,660 strands of blond hair, 69 slivers of human bone, 5 droplets of human blood, 2 teeth, a truncated piece of human skull, 3 ounces of human tissue, a portion of human finger, 1 fingernail, and 1 portion of toe nail."

The point being that even with a wood chipper, it is very, very difficult to do away with a human body. Thank God.

So there are several woodchippers at the site. It could be any of them.

So now the news stations are descending on the area containing the wood chipper. This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion, knowing what's at the end. I think we all know what's coming with the next headlines, even as much as we want to be rational and try not to jump the gun. I said, day two I believe, that I'd never seen a case unravel so fast, and this one hasn't let up. I also said that I'd never seen a case where nearly everyone seemed to share the same overall opinion as to what's become of this precious child. I've been here since just before Caylee Anthony's murder, and it's as if this case is rolling the worst in every case I've followed, all into one horrific weekend on 21st Ave in Hickory NC.

That includes next-door neighbor Charles Bost, who says Zahra's father and stepmother, Adam and Elisa Baker, chatted with him in the yard once or twice and mentioned their dog.

But, he says, in the month and a half the Baker's lived here, they never mentioned a daughter.

"I didn't even know that she existed. I mean I've never seen her and I never heard him mention her or anything like that,” Bost said.

Can't keep up with this thread - so I don't know if this has been commented on:

Didn't the father say he was out checking a "job" during the day little Zahra was reported missing?

Yes, it will be interesting to see if anyone can back up that story or if he was in actuality off in this location destroying er evidence instead.

I am sure they are following up on exactly where he was, especially since we have no idea if Zahra actually went missing that day or has been missing for an extended time.

Is the wood chipper in Burke County?

The ones at the top of the page look like the orange one though. :waitasec:

Yes, I think there's more than one at that site and the media doesn't really know which one was the focus.

Just a link supporting the fire of the mulch pile. Which in light of what has been learned this afternoon, is disconcerting.
Saw discussion on a previous thread about hand written notes on the search warrants but can't find a direct link to the warrants, anyone have that handy? TIA

IMO If the dogs are hitting on the big yellow chipper the body would have had to go through on the site its at right? Why would they move the mulch pile to thier hom? just doent make sense to me.

This case is getting worse by the minute. It is unbelievable. I don't even know what to say. I just don't understand.
