I'm pretty sure that picture is from somewhere else - Hickory isn't near the coast, and the closest large body of water is Lake Norman (about half an hour away) but that doesn't look like the lake.
I live about 30 minutes from Hickory in Mooresville, and it's not raining here or particularly cool - 70 degrees or so. My heart goes out to all the LE and other workers trying to find answers tonight... my coworkers and I were discussing this at lunch today and had to stop. It just makes your heart hurt to think that anyone could treat a child with such absolute cruelty.
It wouldn't surprise me at this point.
She had a taser? How do we know this, was it posted somewhere?
Some prosthesis contain titanium, plastic material and carbon-fiber compounds. Just not sure exactly what the one Zahra had was made of. MOOI do think certain metals would make it through a wood chipper or even a fire (with accelerant) for that matter. Titanium or a couple other steel componants they are some strong stuff. Everything else would be gone.
The dogs hitting on things- if the dogs hit on a piece of machinary that was running recently- I'm not sure I would trust that. If they were HRD dogs hitting on pieces/particles/evidence, whatever that might have come from machinary wise- then I think I would trust that.
My guess would be that she was dead by the time her last school was notified that she was going to be homeschooled this year, and presumably that was no later than around the first few days of this school year. The idea of claiming to homeschool her had to be an afterthought, devised to cover either her death or such severe abuse that she couldn't possibly be sent to school without the abuse being discovered. There's no way either AB or the SM had any interest in or intention of homeschooling this or any other child. Something really bad had already happened when they came up with this idea.
For the police to be searching and maybe processing that land in the dark with floodlights there must be something of significance found there.
Nurse posted the info in the last thread, with a link. (please don't make me find it..lol) She threatened her family member with it. That's one of the charges against her. Nice huh? She is indeed, a pathetic, sadistic, human being. moo mho

K9 hit on one of fathers wood chippers in families back yard several days ago and apparently they did the same on a wood chipper at the location they are searching now. They brought in equipment and moved stuff around now. They were there before but must have gotten some information and that is why they are back there.
Dogs hit in the backyard at the home. Dogs hit on mulch pile and wood chipper at the equipment location. Could these...ummm...people have brought the mulch from the equipment location to the home????? The fire was in a mulch pile in the back yard of the home, right? Mighty funny, you've got dogs 12 miles away hitting on a mulch pile and a wood chipper, and at the home you have dogs hitting on their vehicles and a mulch pile.
Gosh, I didn't know that.Who owns a taser and threatens mothers and babies with it? Thank you.
I'll take your word for it I don't need the link.
Caldwell County Court records show that Bentley filed a complaint May 13 against Elisa Baker, claiming she threatened to kill her and her 7-month-old daughter in a dispute over money. She said Elisa Baker threatened them with a taser and a gun, and Bentley feared for their lives.
