I'm suspecting that goo glove is what the dogs hit on the cars with decomp (prolly more clothing as well), as well as the clothing bits in the yard where the fire was. I think that glove was meant to be burned, and maybe it fell out in haste. Or luck. Or divine intervention.

I rather like that idea. Very "Lovely Bones" with a bit of "Ghost" thrown in.

Also, wasn't it mentioned earlier there was some blood found on the center console of one of the cars?

Probably her. I looked into buying them for my daughters and myself. The good ones are expensive and illegal. Good protection for a female though.

Somehow, I don't think the lovely stepmom was using it for protection. But, nonetheless, I agree with you..they are good protection IF used correctly (ie- not to torture your stepdaughter)

yep, the goo glove was carried back to the home IMO in one of the vehicles, carrying the scent of blood/decomp with it, then was to be burned but did not make it into fire. Once discovered by ??? it was hastily tossed over the neighbor's fence, thus explaining why it was found by neighbor.

Me either and I want him arrested and in jail, pronto!

Then they risk him lawyering up. Lets face it the police probably suspect he is an accomplice at minimum but they need to find her. If SM is responsible for her death she's not going to lead them to her body if she even knows where it is.

I am going to assume that the dogs were cadaver dogs, and yes, they are trained only to hit on human remains. A woodchipper is not a good way to conceal human remains by any means. This is really yucky and sick, but wood chippers are not made to chip up soft things, such as a body, and remains and dna would be evident all over the machinery.

I know that is hard to fathom then I realize she is perfectly capable if she is as evil as I think.
Evil personified, I agree. I was thinking more of her accessibility to his place of work and equipment. The woodchipper at the house , however, she could probably handle with no problem. MOO

Will we know something if they can find some proof tonight?

thank you for bursting my delusional bubble. Back to the horror of it all.

Sorry, but a cadaver dog that hits on animals and humans would be useless out in the woods indicating for dead squirrels, deer, and humans and alike. The signature they are trained to is uniquely human.

Can you buy these in pawn shops maybe??!! My dad was in a pawn shop today....the owner was talking about the case and how "that crazy lady" was in his shop weeks ago....and that she deserved everything coming to her! Timeline may be off....but she may have frequented the shop often?!

More than one complaint filed against MGF:

Ten days later, Yount said in her complaint that Elisa Baker made verbal threats against her child.

"She said my daughter and other girls were talking about her daughter. That wasn't true. She just started screaming and shouting and threatening to hit everybody," Yount said in an interview Tuesday.

It said they were left behind at the old house. Now this is where it gets tricky; dogs wouldn't hit on animal decomp or blood. I have seen it reported that the dogs hit and also that LE found blood. Is it both or which? Cadaver dogs were reported to have hit on both vehicles and blood was found in one vehicle. I've seen both reported about the chippers and mulch piles too.

I am wondering if it is bad reporting or misinformed witnesses. To the layman, blood equals decomp but I thought depended on the training whether dogs hit on one or the other or both?

We may know by the activity on site, if it continues to be covered, and if some remains were found but it'll be days/weeks before a positive ID through DNA - right?

Not that positive ID would be anything more than a formality.

Well, surely with the Dad leading LE out there, LE knows they are looking for remains. Someone has to have told them the story, or A story, about what happened to Zahra. Of course, LE could just be covering all their bases by going out to dad's last job....but since Dad is with them, I am thinking he is talking.

She hasn't had any secret conversations with the husband, if he knows where the body is I can't help but think he was involved with putting it there.

No one has seen her in a month.
The neighbors didn't know she lived there.
I cannot wrap my mind around the idea that he is not deeply involved.
It makes no sense to me.

I hope I am wrong, but the math makes no sense to me that this happened in a day and SM took the body out to his job site by herself and he took the police there.

At the press conference today it said 10/09 was the last verified date. I think she decided to home school her because of the abuse. Abusers are notorious for isolating their victims. No doubt she died from some form of abuse though imo.

I'm assuming your "10/09" is in Euro/UK/Aussie format, meaning September 10.

It was.... so I'm guessing (hunch here) that the decomp/dog hit on the cars was minimal and they were looking for THE site. IOW... cars were transport. For both mom and dad even.

I'm agnostic (please no flames... lol) but I rather like the idea myself. I appreciate the fact the dead can talk, will talk, and knowing this little girl's struggles and life she endured only makes me hope, guess, hope(!) that she wants to get things right, squared away, before she rests in peace. I haven't watched or read Lovely Bones, but I can only imagine the power that Zahra had in her short life... and possibly she's speaking. :)

<It might depend on what they were trained on, human cadaver or animal cadaver. >

Bumping my own post there, which I hate to do, but yes that is what I meant by that post.

Dad WAY involved and FAR from innocent....IMO.
