The hits on the two different chippers have me really worried. I don't even know the least horrible way to type this but if you are sick enough to use a chipper, couldn't you also be sick enough to dispose in multiple locations? I hope you get where I'm going. I don't think I can type it out what my worst fear would be.

Not to be brutal, but the difference is she's alive and sleeping and you are trying to be careful not to wake her. That's different than carrying a large bulk item that you are not concerned about damaging. Sorry, no better way to try to say it.

They said Zahra was what, 54 lbs? I don't think it would be that terribly difficult, but I carry upwards to 70 lbs all the time at work so I'm conditioned to it. I'm 6' tall and weigh 120 lbs so I'm not a brute by any means.

It can be done people. Adreneline can make a person do unthinkable tasks.

She was actually 85 lbs. In the first reports that came out it was incorrectly reported as 54lbs. I'm taking into consideration that Elise doesn't look exactly athletic and possible rigor could have set in. I'm 115 lbs. but strong and I really doubt I could move her. I don't even want to know what would be involved with the wood chipper. What type of strength or maneuvers that involves.

Can you buy these in pawn shops maybe??!! My dad was in a pawn shop today....the owner was talking about the case and how "that crazy lady" was in his shop weeks ago....and that she deserved everything coming to her! Timeline may be off....but she may have frequented the shop often?!

Our local pawn shop sells tasers. Pretty cheap actually too. IMO the reason AB is not arrested yet is just a tactic. Why arrest him now and read him his rights and have him lawyer up. We all know what happens after that. Lawyers advise not to say a word. I have a feeling he will be arrested very soon though.

It was.... so I'm guessing (hunch here) that the decomp/dog hit on the cars was minimal and they were looking for THE site. IOW... cars were transport. For both mom and dad even.

I'm agnostic (please no flames... lol) but I rather like the idea myself. I appreciate the fact the dead can talk, will talk, and knowing this little girl's struggles and life she endured only makes me hope, guess, hope(!) that she wants to get things right, squared away, before she rests in peace. I haven't watched or read Lovely Bones, but I can only imagine the power that Zahra had in her short life... and possibly she's speaking.

Gets me to wondering what the benefit of two vehicles would be. Almost leads you to believe both vehicles were at the chipper site for whatever reason, maybe one transported the body and the other arrived seperately, the gloves being carried home in the one that didn't take the body there?

Right, I only read in one article (still catching up!) that Social Services was out there once. I mean really?! Family members had reported that Elisa was threatening them, did family members also report the abuse? Did Social Services come out to this recent home, does anyone know?

Toward the end of the article is information about an investigator with Social Services.

the multiple chippers has me confused because (major graphic warning for those that want to move past this post) she was small enough to not need to be dismembered to go thru an industrial chipper. This is not a backyard chipper, grown men working this equipment have been pulled through them, so dismemberment ala Fargo would not be needed.

But what if one of the machines is finer in what it spits out (sorry, I know that is horrible) but what if they took the mulch from the large machine and refed it through the smaller one? It would explain the multiple chippers, the multiple mulch piles involved.

It is the only scenario I can make sense out of.

LE actually came back yesterday while the Amber Alert was still out and switched it back. That was discussed her last night. I'm not sure the link for this info...can another sleuther confirm this for us? I think they placed the info on Zahra at 5 ft tall, 55 lbs (which I found odd that they changed it back....)

I imagine by the time school started it probably was very evident that she was being abused an they had to come up with something.

Afraid she might talk too. She denied the abuse to workers when they investigated but what about teachers or her making friends. I'd imagine being investigated by CPS really shook up Elise and Adam. Eventually she might have opened up to the right person.

Without being too specific, and without being too descriptive either salvarenga but yes, my mind went to your worst fear as well. The most efficient way to use a chipper in that manner would be to divide the item being mulched into smaller, easier to handle pieces. KWIM? Yes my thoughts have already been there and I am deeply disturbed by my own thoughts (that were formed because I have read the book about the man's case and trial that was linked to in these threads).


FWIW, I'm not pondering that too hard because I just can't take it.

I know what you mean. When I heard about the dogs hitting on the two chippers I got sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, if the chippers were used to dispose of her body then the mulch could have been delivered to many sites........this is really hard to type.

Moving here from another country I wonder what she was told and believed about CPS. She seemed very afraid of them, I bet SM warped her mind about what would happen to her if she told.

Or perhaps sm took her there, couldn't run the shredder on her own, called dad and coerced him to help her cover up, resulting in him arriving later.

Did the SM bring the wood chips back to the house to burn them along with other evidence? That would give her a few hours if the time line starts at the last time she heard Zahra cough to the fire in the back yard.

(No matter what the situation is regarding Zehra's birth mother, I'm sure she wanted her daughter to live a happy full life. I pray for her hurting heart tonight.)

I have been trying to catch up in these posts and on the news... I see there is a prayer vigil for her tomorrow. I believe I will be attending that. I was way more active yesterday. Today I passed HPD vehicles and what I guess were FBI/US Marshalls/etc vehicles heading North on HWY 127. I assumed going to their last place of residence.. I am just sickened by the reports tonight. My heart is broken for that beautiful girl.

Yes, that could be. And hits on mutliple mulch piles could be from one or the other chipper being used in subsequent jobs.
