Found Deceased ND - Andrew Sadek, 20, Wahpeton, 1 May 2014 *alledged undercover drug informant*

The only time I didn't have contact with my son, was when he was doing his boot camp for the Marines. But I wrote him every day to keep him in the loop with, what was what with sports.

My heart goes out to his family! I have a son away at college and I just can't imagine the anguish and fear when your child has gone missing. It's hard to imagine Andrew could have gone too far outside of Wahpeton without a car unless someone picked him up. There's not much in between towns except long stretches of farmland. I hope he just needed some time away and will return safe.

I am hoping LE is doing all due diligence in checking his cell phone records leading up to his last sighting.

Norgaard Hall is a suite type dorm with 4 double rooms per suite..so possibly 7 other people sharing the space. I wonder if any of them were awake at 2am and saw him leave, or the time/clothing information comes just from the surveillance camera.

Would that have been out of character for him to leave at that time of night? I wonder if the roommates were actual friends or just sharing the living space.

Campus police say, in talking with friends and family of Andrew, there was no indication he was distraught, depressed, intoxicated or experiencing any medical issues prior to his disappearance all adding to the confusion surrounding the case.

Crews spent the day searching in the south end of Richland County after a tip came in. "There was a reason to go there. We had a sighting of the individual that was reported," Helgeson said.

As crews expend their search in the Tyler area they will be searching along the river banks, but for family and friends there are so many questions left unanswered.

"Being at school not seeing him, not knowing if hes ok," friend Brady Winking said.

Andrew is supposed to graduate next week. Winking says he can't imagine why something like this would happen to his fellow classmate and friend.

"He was always happy go lucky, didn't see this coming," Winking said.

Andrew has been on my mind since yesterday. I even thought about him when I got up in the night. I feel so much for his parents. He is their only living child....I am praying he is safe.

On his twitter he follows "high times" and other smoking related users.

What if he was making a run to get some green and something happened on the way or there?

If so does his friends know this person/location?

Some young adults always have a bag packed. Hopefully LE know what items are missing from his room. I hope that he just needed a break...change in environment. Maybe he didn't want to graduate and return to the farm.

Final exams are May 13-16. Dorms close 5/16.
I hope they've checked his phone records to see if he had any calls Thurs night.

Was he a senior? If so it is especially troubling to me that, if he disappeared voluntarily, he wouldn't wait until after he graduated. It was days away! Could something be wrong at school with his classes, finals, that his parents didn't know about and he was ashamed, because he wasn't going to be able to graduate like everyone expected?

It's a 2 year associates college. They have several ranching/farming programs. I would think he would have to take his final exams to actually graduate though so he still has time to come back and finish. As Teche mentioned, maybe he didn't want to go back to work on the family farm.

He had no interaction with roommates when leaving at 2am so no one to ask where he's going etc.

Could dogs track his scent from the dorm to see if it stopped where he possibly got into a car? I see the K-9 unit assisted but what about tracking dogs?

My heart stops when I see men go missing near water....

Finals time is always so stressful. I hope he is safe out there somewhere.
