Michael Eidenschink left his house in Park River around 1200 hours on 11/24/19. He left in a Gray 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche with ND Plate:066ABP. He was believed to be hunting or fishing in the Fordville area but hasn't returned. Please contact the Sheriff's Office at 701-352-2041 if you see Michael or his vehicle. Fordville has a population of only about 200 people according to Wikipedia. The entire Walsh County has a population of about 10 700 people.

"Mike Eidenschink has been located. It was not the outcome we had hoped for. We thank everyone for assisting us with this search."

At around 4 p.m., the sheriff's office got a call from police near Cando, reporting they found Eidenschink's body.

Jurgens said Cando, about 75 miles west Fordville, wasn't an area authorities considered in their search.

Authorities said foul play is not suspected at this time. The cause of death will be determined during an autopsy that will likely take place on Tuesday.
