What in the world is the defense thinking with this opening?

I came in late...is this the defense attorney rambling on?
The only good thing is the prosecution now knows exactly where they are going with their defense and can address any issues. You would think the judge would put a stop to it.
I lost track of this one, but glad to see the trial has started. Has a motive ever been theorized? Was he having a dispute with the property management company?
^^sbmThe state did not lay out a motive for the crimes.

Of course, there's been the catch-all blame the "cartel" but all evidence points to Isaak including surveillance from one week prior to the murders where Isaak appeared to do a practice run to the management business at the same early morning hour. Isaak planned this! MOOSaw that. Was just wondering if there was any chatter or anything out there. It is just so very weird.

Nothing. Model tenant, paid timely, etc. He paid his rent online so had little interaction. See the defense opening. Was he being penalized by the management company or HOA for something? Or just a thrill kill? Will we ever know?
