Oh no.... why would she have driven down that road with so much snow as well? When I left after an argument with my ex I went to the nicest hotel for the night and charged it to him...not down some remote road in winter.

Hoping LE having the vehicle will give some much needed information/clues to her whereabouts. Praying.

I hope I didn’t cause confusion with my earlier post with the conflicting times! I questioned the varying info and hoped we could identify an accurate timeline of some sort.

Otoe County deputies and Nebraska State Patrol investigators were on scene at an unplowed county road between Elmwood and Unadilla Friday, where the Jaguar SUV driven by a missing Weeping Water woman was found.

Deputies did not provide any details regarding the discovery of the vehicle on Road C, but a cattle producer working the area said the road had not been plowed since 14 inches of snow fell on Jan. 25.
The Jaguar was found on a low spot among a series of steep hills.

I used google maps to find the location of where her car was found. It's in the middle of absolutely nowhere. I don't know how to post the map on here, but from her home to this location, it would have been about 30-40 minute drive.

The article doesn't state this, but it doesn't appear that Amber was found in her vehicle. I'm hoping she's safe, but I feel even worse about the potential of that now that her vehicle has been located and where it was located.

I really hope LE is able to determine whether she drove the vehicle to that location or if someone drove it there in an attempt to hide it. If someone else drove it there to try to hide it, I believe they would have needed to have someone give them a ride back.

All JMO.

I can't read the article because I'm not a subscriber, but there's a frightening headline. If it is Amber, it will be reported on all of the news stations. Prayers to her family.

Body found in Otoe County; vehicle of missing Weeping Water woman also discovered in area

The black 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SUV last seen driven by 48-year-old Amber Tjaden, who went missing Jan. 27, was found in rural Otoe County. A deceased person was found in the area as well, according to a press release from the Otoe County Sheriff's Office.

The person's identity has not been released, and an autopsy has been ordered.

Tjaden is the daughter of former Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle and manages the Gateway to College program at Metropolitan Community College.

Could this mean she actually went missing two days earlier than reported? Before or during the snowstorm? 14" is A LOT to drive OVER on an unplowed rural road. Do we know FOR SURE when she was last seen by anyone?

Perhaps she took off without her phone? Because of the fight? Got caught IN the storm, then got stuck, died trying to go for help? Got buried under a foot of snow?

Could've been saved if she'd been reported missing the day she left?

Surely we hear more today.

It’s been stated she talked to her daughter the day she left after the argument with her husband.

By phone? Or text?

Awaiting an update....

Was she perhaps followed to that location?

I still can't get my head around being in that location after a 14" snowfall! Why be on THAT road at all?

What are we missing?

It's been reported that her cell phone pinged at 5 PM on Hwy 50 just outside of Weeping Water on the day she disappeared. This is JMO, but I think there are two possible scenarios. The first is she was alone and driving after the argument and drove down that road, got stuck and left on foot to look for help. The second is that someone dumped her and her car there, perhaps after murdering her. In the second scenario, again, JMO, I think that person would have needed to have a ride home. It's in the middle of nowhere.

OR.... she was followed out there, a struggle ensued.... and only one person/ vehicle left...

We'll know more soon.

Feeling very sad for her loved ones.....

I think we are likely missing a lot of things. Hopefully LE is able to successfully piece everything together and collect the evidence they need to determine whether this was a tragic accident, or if it was murder.

That's a possibility. I also feel very sad for her loved ones.

IMHO I think that the more likely scenario is this was a very tragic accident. Why would a killer remove her from the car? RIP whoever the deceased is.

Unless the killer intended to dump her and drive away, but then got stuck himself. That would mean he had to find a ride home somehow, though. Yet I also find it hard to believe a professional woman driving a Jag would attempt driving down an unplowed road with 14 inches of snow. It's all very odd.

I get 31 minutes but please note, the point on Road C is not an exact location.
