A metro-wide police broadcast has been issued for law enforcement to be on the lookout for a man being charged with attempted murder to left a metro hospital Wednesday.
Council Bluffs Police confirm that David McKee is unaccounted for and that he left a metro hospital. McKee's wife told WOWT 6 News this week that she stabbed McKee multiple times in self-defense.
McKee, 39, was being treated at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. He is wearing khaki shorts and a t-shirt with a fresh wound on his neck with stitches.
He was last seen by hospital staff at 2:55pm Wednesday.
McKee had allegedly broken out a window to get inside a house Sunday, before attacking his wife and threatening another woman. The home is near 36th Street and 2nd Avenue in Council Bluffs.
