Found Deceased NE - Eldie Cline, 48, North Platte, 22 Jan 2018

Eldie Cline, 48, last made contact with his wife through a text sometime early Monday morning after he finished his shift at his job with Union Pacific Railroad. He apparently left in his 1998 blue Volkswagen Beetle with Nebraska license plate number 15-C986.

He is 5-foot-6 and weighs about 185 pounds. His eyes are brown and he may or may not be wearing glasses. His hair is salt-and-pepper and his hair is cut in a flattop style.

Family members say the car he is driving is not in immaculate shape and the paint is peeling. The color is a royal blue.

Eldie Cline's body has been found, in his car off the side of the road, between his hometown and a neighboring town.

Forty-eight-year-old Eldie Cline has been found dead in Garden County.Cline had been reported missing to North Platte Police on Jan. 15.

Pierce says that the scene indicates that there was a car accident and that Cline's car had been airborne and came to a rest in a ravine past pine trees.

The cause of Cline's death is unknown and an autopsy was ordered.
