They mention he might have been seen on the Appalachian Trail. But they also state his bike is missing. A mountain bike? With very small exceptions in VA, MD and PA and where the trail goes through some towns, bikes are not allowed on the trail. I wonder if there are other trails nearby for mountain bikers and have they been searched?
