GUILTY NE - Juliette Geurts, 2, beaten to death, Gering, 11 July 2008

  • #341
Good to know I'm not the only one who recorded like 28 episodes of Inside Edition.

I'm still recording and yet no report that I've seen. :maddening:

I'm sick of watching shows that repeat everything that some other show has already talked about. This little girl is just one of many that needs the help of the media.

Has the Grand Jury met?

The grand jury will meet "soon" there might be a date somewhere I am missing.

What about one of the shows on ID discovery, dateline or 48 hours?

While all babies murdered should get media attention, unfortunately the media often wants a hook to make it so they would take the story. The fact that the babies are beautiful twins and the fact that the father is a soldier that does not get justice makes this compelling to natl media and should provide the hook for national media to take it up.

Is the problem that there were 3 people in the house so it is impossible, authorities claim, to prove beyond a reasonable doubt which one of the three did it? Or is it that authorities refuse to say it is a murder? 5 years almost is too long to wait for justice,

Hey!!! Juliette is being featured on HLN - JVM!!! Right now!!!!

  • #345
This case is on JVM now, citing the inside edition story.

  • #346
It will be on tomorrow on inside edition. They said mother and friend point finger on boyfriend, Dustin. He ran off when IE tried to ask him, even hopping the wall to get away. He said they could speak to his lawyers. IE was only able to talk to him because his erratic driving resulted in a ticket.

Did you guys see the reaction of the "mother" when asked if she killed Juliette: "What!?! No!!!!" As if the question was shocking and ridiculous.

Whatever, lady. Your baby dies in a house with three adults and no on heard anything? Yeah, right. Either you killed your daughter, helped or you know exactly what happened to her.

I think she was being beaten to death, probably by the boyfriend, who wanted her to go to sleep or stop crying or something, and the mom fully allowed it. She suffered a seizure, I think, from blunt force trauma and somehow it wasn't caught by the ER. Either that or she was beaten even more when she got home.

This is truly one sick case.

The other friend, who actually seemed very upset, admitted there was a lot of drinking, etc. going on that night. Seemed like a big party was going on or something. It does not seem like the mother was interviewed too much for the program.

They also had the aunt Monica speaking.

So glad his case has finally gotten some national attention tonight!

Where is Bree???

I recorded this JVM, if there is a need for it to be uploaded I can probably do it in a couple days.

I also still have Inside Edition set to record as well. They say they caught up with all three suspects.

I would also like to note that several people called me and said "Jane is talking about your Juliette!!!"

People know who she is, she hasn't been forgotten.

I kept thinking I must be dreaming... 4 years... it took 4 years.

I swear no case can get me crying instantly like Juliette. As soon as the first picture popped up on Jane I just lost it.

It's about d@mn time!

Saw this on JVM tonight. Saw the mom now lives in Wisconsin. In fact, they stated that none of the three adults in the house the night Juliette died live in Nebraska anymore. Also talked about the fact that many neighbors routinely complained of rowdy parties at the house where Juliette died.

Sorry, MsFacetious, it's been one of those days. I missed out on JVM earlier, but I have the DVR set to record it at midnight. My DVR is also set for Inside Edition.

I hope that Juliette's case will continue to receive the attention it rightfully deserves.

Gitana - I completely agree with everything you said. I think the mom is involved.

Her story about taking a sleeping pill (after bringing your sick little girl home from the ER) is complete BS! I believe she was beaten because she was crying and wouldn't stop (she was sick and needed her mom)...so she was "taken care of". If the mom was completely innocent, then why is it her family made fun of the Justice for Juliette FB page? An innocent baby dies, from blunt force trauma, and the maternal family finds humor in a page that the paternal family has set-up seeking justice for her death?

This has Nancy Grace written all over it! I don't watch a lot of NG, but Juliette needs someone like Nancy to "shout from the roof tops"!

I was catching up like "there is someone missing here!"
Just wanted to make SURE you didn't miss it Bree!! :woohoo:

Thanks for the message! :rocker:

FINALLY our little girl is receiving attention! It's the perfect case for a media person to grab and run with.

2 y/o twin murdered; sister surviving
3 adults present; no one "knows" anything (they all left the area)
Dad in US Army has done 3 tours overseas SINCE Juliette's death

Why hasn't the DA done something about this? Was he interviewed?

It doesn't appear that Inside Edition right this second is about Juliette.
I hoped they meant 1am on October 18th. lol
They DID show the preview on this episode though, so it should be on in 24 hours.

If all else fails, we will be able to watch it online. So I'm not too stressed about it.

Don't you remember Mr Dead Babies?
The County Attorney/Attorney General?

Nuff said.

FYI - Anyone who might have found Juliette's thread recently... should watch this video.

BBM: I remember him! That's why I was hoping someone would interview him. I want him called out on his "just another dead baby" comment. :furious:

Nancy Grace.
That is what I've been hoping would get her attention.

Twin murdered, other twin neglected.
Dad is in the military and continues to serve our country.
Attorney General said Juliette was just another "dead baby."

But it hasn't worked getting Nancy's attention...

Inside Edition Airing Local Murder Case

Zimmerman: If relevant "Inside Edition" segment will be submitted to grand jury

Holy cr@p!
The response, the comments!
People who live 60 miles from Juliette didn't know about her murder...
Can you imagine living 60 miles from Ethan Stacy and NOT hearing about his murder?

Doug Warner IS now the DA... and he wouldn't pass the case which is why they went with a grand jury.

I will get banned if I do anything more than post these. I'm totally overwhelmed.
Every time I open an article and see Juliette's picture in the NEWS... I just cry. Unbelievable!!! :woohoo:

But these interviews... make me want to say very very bad things
. :banghead:

Remember... Warner is the guy in charge of Juliette's case... is there ANY doubt why it is unsolved?

juliette3.jpg

D.A. Warner: “Don't give me that ‘for Juliette.’ Do you know how many dead babies I’ve worked on?”

Asked how Warner’s comments affected her, Monica told Guerrero, “It just made my heart sink.”

Guerrero went to speak to District Attorney Warner along with a group of concerned citizens, but Warner left work early.

-------------------------

Guerrero caught up with Gering Police Chief Mel Griggs.

“Can you explain why that crime scene - why that house wasn't secured for five days?” asked Guerrero.

“I'm just not prepared to answer that,” Griggs said after a long pause.

-------------------------

“I think Dustin went in there in the middle of the night and beat her too hard,”
Townsend painfully replied.

Townsend believes Dustin Chauncey, Charyse's boyfriend, was drunk and beat Juliette because she wouldn't stop crying.

“He had a real short temper and the girls were really scared of him,”
Townsend told Guerrero.

--------------------

Guerrero asked, “Did Dustin kill her?”

“Yeah I believe that he did it,” she admitted.

So who is Dustin Chauncey? We found he's been arrested twelve different times for everything from theft and drugs to violent assault.

Townsend agreed to a sit-down interview with Guerrero.
Guerts gave a 22-minute interview, on and off-camera, Hall said,
and Chauncey is quoted in materials as being unwilling to be interviewed.
