The Cass County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 24-year-old.

Rebecca Newman was reported missing by her parents Jan. 31.

Newman was last seen Jan. 23, wearing a sweatshirt, T-shirt and blue jeans.

Newman is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. She's driving a black, 2008 Dodge Avenger with Nebraska license plate No. 20-N274.

Newman needs to be on prescribed medication, her parents said. Recent communication by text messaging led her family to be concerned. Her cellphone has been in use in Omaha since Jan. 31.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 402-296-9370.

There's a few charges for a Rebecca Newman in Cass County, same age, all the way up to 2022, but cannot tell if it is her or someone with same name. Couldnt really see any mug shots or anything to confirm.
