You've been missing 18 months today, Sunny....I pray for your family and I hope for answers one day.

I find it hard not to get frustrated and discouraged at LE around here. I hope they are just building evidence and not just letting the case go cold. I think about Sunny often and wish her family could have some closure and that the man who did this has some recourse. You are not forgotten Sunny.

Not that I think she would put herself on there but since it’s Nebraska and the trafficking rates are so high....do people ever check out back pages sites here when looking for missing women? It just occurred to me that they might show up there.
Imo

21 months tomorrow:( Sunny, I'm still praying for you to be found, and your family to have answers. I don't understand why there seems to be no progress being made in finding out what happened to you. Your life matters. You are not forgotten.

MOO

I very well versed in meth its effects on users and those around. I cant help but think about all the stories I know of about ppl being spun out or tweaked out for weeks. Not to remember most of it and become psycho in their own ways. One time I mentioned a name to a group of ppl high on meth and the mere mention of that name they saw me as that person and a melee followed ! That fast one word is all they heard no others following. But to dispose of evidence in an area you are not from would be tough and come down to luck. But if its that good of a spot someone local knows of it. Im wondering about the time before the casino, maybe he was building a story ? Doubt he would be on meth and go to the casino... unless he gets a kick outta that public vibe while high.

So, did her parents know she was going on this trip with someone who's obviously a bad guy? Someone with a sheet who's 40 years old? Seems like the kind of dude you keep your kids away from, but maybe they didn't know what was up.

to be quite honest, probably half the people at the casinos here are high on meth. Not only that, casinos are used to convert dirty money into clean money. Dang near everyone I know around here that uses meth goes over to council bluffs to gamble. Many do it multiple times a day.

Wanted to add that an addict is not typically limited to only one thing. Most have addictive personalities. Therefore, addicted to many things that create a rush, one of which is gambling.

I however know very little about the POI so I can’t comment either way on what he typically partakes in. I hope justice is served sooner than later tho.

The way the mom worded her description of Sunny leaving made me think that the mom hadn't wanted Sunny to go, but wasn't in a position to prevent her from leaving. She said she had made Sunny promise to call her to let her know that she was OK. I don't remember if it was at specified places, or times, or what, but I think she did call once. Although Sunny was young, she was already married and separated, having recently moved back in with her mom. MOO

Sunny Sramek

Sunny Sramek was last seen on April 20, 2019, when the 18-year-old left with an unidentified male allegedly for a trip from Trenton, Nebraska, to Omaha, according to the FBI. She was in a 2004 white Ford Explorer with Iowa license plate HGJ341. Sunny’s relationship with the man is unclear, but a local NBC affiliate reports he is an “acquaintance” of hers. A post on a family-run page states that the man called Sunny's mother on the night of April 20 to say “he had gone into the Prairie Flower Casino in Carter Lake, Iowa, and when he came out, Sunny was not in the vehicle.” Loved ones are concerned for Sunny’s safety and are reaching out for support on the ‘Find Sunny Sramek’ Facebook page. Sunny was last seen wearing denim shorts and a black tank top. She also had a pair of jeans and a hoodie with her. She is described as being 5’7”, 183 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder of a feather with the letters "FLY" and a tattoo on her right ankle of a tribal sun in red ink. She has multiple scars including: a rectangular scar on the back of her right shoulder, a small, square-shaped scar in the middle of her upper forehead, scarring on one of her ankles and a shin, scars from the chicken pox on her face, a scar on her left hand at the bottom of her thumb and forefinger, and cuts on her arm. The Omaha FBI field office told Dateline that if you have any information on the circumstances surrounding Sunny’s disappearance to please contact them at (402) 493-8688.

Her updated page in The Charley Project:

Another one of those stories where the guy says she just walked off...

As far as stories go, it isn't original.

And the casino didn't have any cameras in the parking lot. Then there is his other story where they stopped at a gas station and came out and she was gone. You would think LE checked the cameras there. This guy sounds like a real piece of work.
