There are three videos.

1. Both POI in car.
2. AT long rant.
3. Short video showing BB tattoos.

Was that LE who posted BB's tattoos? I haven't seen that video (nor do I care) but I am curious as to who would take it and why?

That's what I thought, maybe slipped something in a soda they offered her or something, GHB? Chloroform maybe? Accidentally gave her too much and killed her..
wonder if there's any missing girls within the last couple years or so that went cold case in Iowa, Nebraska or anything surrounding?
Def don't think BB would say this.

No they posted it after the second vid and referenced it in ATs. It was to prove they are who they say.

Vail,

I agree with your assessment about what can cause such a negative transformation. I guess I sometimes think in terms of how the world was when I was in my early 20's. Pot was a big thing in my day, and people smoked it, but I didn't know anyone whose life was ruined by it.

In recent years, I have known some parents of teenagers and young adults who have completely ruined their lives (and their parents lives, too) with serious drug addictions. The reality of these cases is that the parents did do everything in their power to help their child, all to no avail. It is so sad.

It is just so hard for me to fathom. It is really heart-breaking, and especially so when there is a potential victim involved (Sydney).

That's right PC was 08.45 a.m. CT and POI's had already been detained I believe.

What scares me is they're such an arrogant type, they're the type to not ever say anything because they know in order to be arrested and tried they need evidence and a body and police have neither. We may never know what happened to Sydney.

Actually, that is incorrect. If prosecution feels they have enough compelling evidence to secure a conviction, they can proceed without the body. I am not a lawyer and looked this information up online.
If BB is listening to AT and taking advice like this, she is going to end up double-screwed. It would be in her best interests and her baby's to stop listening to AT and start taking protecting her future by coming clean with everything she knows. AT clearly seems to be using her, which is obvious in the video. "We" are being hunted. "We" are innocent. "Bailey" went on the date with Sydney. "Bailey" dropped her off at a friend's house. See, even while protesting their innocence, AT is setting precedence through the wording of his video that although he is helping Bailey run from the police due to warrants they both have, he wasn't around at the end of Sydney's disappearance. By having her appear with him in videos where she obviously doesn't deny what he claims, he can now say "she agreed with me so I wasn't lying" and deny her future statements. Hopefully, once BB is out from under ATs thumb, she will begin to see things more clearly and realize that no, it isn't you against the world and ATs got your back. It is AT against the world and he does not have yours. JMO

This case makes me so sad - Sydney was so excited to be going out on a date, looking for love, and most likely wound up losing her life. It's seriously tragic...

LINCOLN, Neb. —The FBI and Lincoln police said two people are in custody Thursday who are believed to be involved in the disappearance of Sydney Loofe.
Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, 23, are in custody and being questioned by officials.

Trail and Boswell were booked into jail in Taney County, Missouri, on Nov. 30, according to county records. Both people are being held without bond on a federal hold.

The FBI said it is still talking with both Trail and Boswell and continue to ask for the public's help finding Loofe. Anyone with information about where she might be is encouraged to call the FBI tip line at 402-493-8688, option 1.

7:45 a.m. Thursday
Trail made the comment during one of two new videos posted to social media overnight. The clips were posted to a Facebook page under the name of Bailey Boswell, who police are calling the second person of interest.

The FBI and Lincoln police held a press conference Thursday morning to discuss Sydney Loofe's case during.
Watch press conference here.
New information was released regarding Trail Thursday morning.

Trail was initially charged on Sept. 1 with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and habitual criminal.
Two months later according to court documents, a warrant was issued for Trail Nov. 21 and sealed eight days later.
Details of the warrant have not yet been released.
VIDEOS
In his video, Trail said, "We've pretty much decided to turn ourselves in because we've pretty much been convicted anyway. And ya' know if we keep running maybe it's going to look bad for ya'."
Trail said he and Boswell want to clear their names and reiterated that they have cooperated with Lincoln police.
"I called on the 22nd. I call the investigators phone and left messages about four times," Trail said in the video. "I called the Lincoln Police Department and dispatchers about eight times."
Trail also said he did not kill Loofe.
23-year-old Boswell also posted a 37 second video overnight. She shows her tattoos to prove her identity and stating she agreed with what Trail had posted in his video.
While Lincoln police have not elaborated on Trail and Boswell's relationship with Loofe, Boswell stated in an original video posted on Wednesday that she went on her first date with Loofe on Nov. 14, the day before the 24-year-old went missing.
Loofe's cellphone was last pinged in Wilber, Neb., the same area that rescue crews scoured on Wednesday. Much of the attention was focused in and around a pond. Investigators drained water from it and also searched a wooded area.
This search happened not far from the apartment that Trail was renting in Wilber.
A helicopter helped crews search parts of Gage County, as well.

I don't think much has changed in terms of marijuana use etc - if anything it is getting better as it becomes more decriminalized and understood. I can't say the drug itself ruins lives, only the laws surrounding it that put harmless people in jail or in the line of fire. If BB has a drug habit keeping her with Trail, I suspect it is something far more addictive such as heroin as others here have said, but that only tells us about BB and gives us a possible outcome (if Sydney tried heroin and ODd and these two idiots covered it up).

Police said Friday morning they had no updates.

Investigators also were evaluating digital information they continue to receive from telecommunication providers. They intend to use that information, along with whatever can be gleaned from interviews with Trail and Boswell, to direct future search efforts.

The two did not turn themselves in to law enforcement, the chief said, despite Trail saying in a video posted on social media overnight that he and Boswell had "pretty much decided" to come forward.

We know that Sydney had some health issues at least as much as having a limp. Maybe she could have tried something for the first time and had an abnormally aversive reaction? That actually does fit the scenario of a weed smoker hooking up with a heavier drug user they greatly admire and want to impress, especially if they spent the day before being prepped. Damn, it fits too well.
BB's fake accounts only hide her from casual inquiry, not crime investigations. So maybe she really was using her accounts just to look for hook ups, and meanwhile AT is thinking I can party with these chicks, maybe hook up, maybe sell some drugs and do some business? That dude is playing all the angles plus another at all times, in my opinion. He never lies, he half-lies as evidenced by the police briefing clarifying his comments on his warrants. That we he can always do exactly what he did on his videos, claim everyone else is not credible because they have their facts incorrect. If Sydney accidentally OD'd while hanging out with people who we know have active warrants, that definitely fits their possible decision not to get her help but instead go on the run.

I find the charges on AT interesting. He called it a 'trumped-up charge' in his last video and it does seem unusual (to me.) But the sealed affidavit mentioned in the article is intriguing. This is from Lincoln Journal Star report:

And Trail was being held on a newly filed case in Saline County, where he's accused of being a habitual criminal and a felon in possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors asked to file the affidavit for Trail's arrest warrant under seal "due to the sensitive nature of these matters and the likelihood that individuals who are key witnesses or additional participants in this matter may flee the state of Nebraska if this matter is disclosed."

Will they be extradited to Nebraska soon?
