This is completely just a feeling, but I don't think he's completely making stuff up. I think everything, or most of what he said, has at least some element of truth. Like he's telling the truth, but in his own distorted reality. For example, the lawyer... he probably DID represent him in his other cases, so he assumed he would in this one too when he said it (and then either decided not to hire him, or the lawyer didn't want the case). And he probably DID have BB call the police after he found out they talked to his ex-wife since he knew they were on his trail... even though I doubt he was as cooperative as he made it sound. Therefore, maybe HE didn't personally kill Sydney... but had BB do it. Can anyone think of something he said that's just 100% false?

Yes there were elements of truth to things AT said in his videos but I agree the extent of their cooperation was likely exaggerated by AT. Also, the same attorney AT mentions is the registered agent on the business filing for A & B Antiques at the Nebraska Sec. of State. I don't think the attorney could represent him even if he wanted to since the charges are Federal. AT has represented himself in the past. There is a Pro-se case (04361-FECR006762) in Iowa from Fremont county, which I believe is linked to fraud/theft of an antique shop in Percival Iowa. AT got himself a pretty good deal considering that he had concurrent cases going on at the same time. He only got 5 years, ran together with several other cases in multiple counties. 5 years seems like a good amount of time, but not in Iowa. 2 will discharge the entire sentence and he was likely eligible for a parole hearing after 8 mos to a year. https://www.iowacourts.state.ia.us/ESAWebApp/DefaultFrame

With the new evidence and charges related to the stolen goods, I would personally say that's a false statement but I think he probably does have a distorted reality. I think he feels above law and when you take a good look at his criminal records and compare to the actual time he has done, it's not hard to see how he developed that perception.

Trail has a criminal record that includes two stints in Nebraska prisons for forgery and passing bad checks in Pierce and Dawson Counties. On the video, he also said he had been sought for crimes in Minnesota.

Yes! I noticed that too. My reference to it was "googly" but wonky is better. It's strange that he has that wonky eye in all of his mugshots except for the Iowa 2014 one where he has the longer hair and the most recent images of him. I suppose it's not anything relevant but seems odd that all of a sudden it's just gone.

I'd say LE. At this point it's possible the family isn't even aware of COD. There was a case in CO where two teens were murdered in a ditch in April I believe and it wasn't released until August. There was an article and the family stated they had just found out COD when we found out. Not exactly sure how that's possible (I'd assume they'd have access to the bodies for funerals) but who knows.

Also, I didn't think Katie was real either. Then I saw a missing persons poster with her and the timing matched up so thought maybe it was possible.

Highly doubt this has anything to do with coins. Also they wouldn't be leaving their precious coins they went around the country thiefing. Plus even though it sounds like they stole 300k+ they're apparently broke needing to use a public defender/no defender....soooo probably wouldn't be leaving these coins.

Now, law enforcement officials suspect they were involved in a series of similar rip-offs across the country that might add up to $300,000 or more".

Aubrey was involved in this with Bailey, but he apparently wasn't charged. Perhaps Bailey was the only one charged because she wrote the bad check (s)?

Loofe's family has scheduled funeral arrangements in her hometown of Neligh, Nebraska. A memorial service will take place tomorrow, Monday December 11 at 10:30 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church. The family will host a visitation at the church today, Sunday December 10 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

A criminal complaint document filed December 7 reveals Boswell and Trail have been accused of transporting, transmitting, and transferring $5,000+ worth of stolen goods from Hiawatha, Kansas to Beatrice, Nebraska. The alleged crime took place on or about October 20, 2017.

Their federal preliminary hearings are scheduled for this Thursday December 14 in Lincoln.

In one homemade video, Trail said Boswell had a separate phone to access Tinder.

These flags along Highway 41 west of Wilber, Nebraska are believed to mark evidence in the Sydney Loofe case.

Small evidence flags were visible along Highway 41 west of Wilber on Saturday. Similar flags that had lined a gravel road where a body believed to be Loofe’s was found north of the village of Edgar had been removed by Saturday.

Janet Haney of rural Edgar said some evidence was recovered from a marsh on her farm.

“The more I hear about (the case), the more scared I get,” Haney said Saturday.

So they walked away with $28.000 in coins from PA, They are charged with transferring $5,000 in stolen goods from Hiawatha, KS and the flags in the picture says to me coins. Especially since they were using metal detectors and rakes to find evidence.

My guess is that since they keep stealing things they need someone else to transfer this stuff to buyers they find (likely also shady), so they find unknown young women through Tinder and con them into doing this deed for them.

If Sydney objected and somehow got the chance to toss the coins out the window would that be enough to killer her?

There is no missing poster for Katie, we don't even know if she is real at this point. I suspect not, but if she was I don't think she would have been a missing person, AT and BB implied she was with them willingly. They said police blew up her phone saying she was in danger - this implies the police knew where she was or at least who she was with. If the police had known of a second person missing in connection with these two, someone who they had contact with and could reach on the phone, I think they would have made them POIs a lot sooner and used the second missing girls phone to locate them.

There was a missing poster for a girl called Katelynn but she was found safe and not connected to the case. Her mother has publicly stated this.

Oh wow I didn't know this. According to one of SL's friends in an earlier article, "Loofe has a spinal disorder and walks differently." That likely would have impeded her ability to get out of harm's way and made her an easier target.

I think they may be vetting for a frontperson as a business partner. I suspect that may be why these two POIs got together in the first place. Maybe one of the requirements for BB is sexual compatability and AT doesn't care as long as it helps them elude LE. Or it's just a vehicle to shop women who aren't wanted by the law. A pretense, obviously. The Katie story would fit this scenario. IMO
