"Trail confirmed in recent a letter to the Journal Star that he has been speaking with investigators.

"I have made it clear that I can only answer questions about me and what I know," Trail wrote. "I have made it very clear that Bailey Boswell had nothing to do with the death of Sydney Loofe."

Trail, in his letter, did not address what, if anything, he knows about Loofe's death".

Interesting. Also PA authorities believe the two (AT and BB) have a romantic relationship.

Case keeps getting stranger and stranger. But after reading that...it seems so. But in my head I just can't see him doing that. Maybe he's hoping to keep her quiet while he's over in his corner taking plea deals and throwing the blame on her. Who knows. He has lived his life in a rather self-serving fashion thus far, so it is hard to imagine that he would stick his neck out for anyone. I do think that perhaps AT hopes that BB remains quiet and I'm thinking she might not be talking. I say this because at the last press conference, the Lincoln Police Chief said they continue to talk to AT, but he said nothing about talking to BB,

At a minimum, I think BB lured SL. If that proves to be the case, she is an accessory, but I think her involvement goes beyond that. JMO.

As an newbie to this thread I’ve been going back and reading a lot of the previous posts and it seems as if AT & BB might have been into some strange stuff.. the more I read the more I see they could have been a couple like Tanya Bogdanovich and Michael MacGregor case a few years back. Has any of the LE allude to the motive/s?

I wonder the same thing... if indeed she was dismembered, the crime scene where it took place is going to be grisly, messy and most likely full of dna. Even if they “cleaned” it up, there’s still trace evidence that can be unknown to the naked eye. In my forensic classes I learned that not everything can be erased now days.

It seems highly unlikely they would have done the dismemberment in the freezing out doors, near where people could drive by. I would assume it was done in a location like bathroom, to minimize the evidence....When the LE walked into their place of residence it would be obvious, one good pass with luminol and LE would know something very disturbing took place. Personally I have a feeling something happened elsewhere and the discovery site was them trying to dispose of evidence, and distance themselves from it. [emoji848] JMO

I’m wondering if the autopsy will determine how long she was out there for? In terms of T.O.D until discovery

Is it at all possible that they kept her hostage for sometime and then killed her?

In an article published in yesterday's Omaha World Herald, it was stated that SL's body was found in pieces and cites the sources for that information as two law enforcement officials. The same article states LE is also investigating whether this was a ritualistic slaying.

This information was gathered by the Omaha World Herald. It is very possible the two law enforcement officials asked not to be named in exchange for this information and the Omaha World Herald would comply.

Catching up with the developments from yesterday about the dismemberment. WTF?! So sorry to hear this, though we did suspect this would be the case.

Sydney was excited about the second date with BB. Makes me mad that they conned her and lured her in.

But keep talking, AT Writing letters to the newspaper? He really can't shut up, can he? He's going to make sure this is all about him, not to protect BB (though he might try give that impression), but because he needs to be the center of the attention. He needs to be in control and to manipulate the narrative. I think he's getting off on this extended con job....

This case reminds me of my cousin getting murdered. He also met someone on line that killed him. He was gay and the murderer pretended to be gay just to lure him to a location. Then the murderer and his friend robbed and killed my cousin.
