I think they don't want it to leak out all over social media --> conspiracies etc.I can't listen to most of that. I don't think a worse place could have been chosen for a news conference. I mean, what's the rush? Tyler has been gone over a year. Take the time to go back to headquarters where it's quieter. lol
Due to that is there anyone that could hear what was being said after 45 seconds in? TIA
So they'd chose to hold their news conference near where he was found? I'd think headquarters would be a better (and quieter) option.I think they don't want it to leak out all over social media --> conspiracies etc.
I’m from Lincoln, and trying to figure out where exactly he’s standing. I think the area to the officer’s left is rugged woods, without any significant trails. But I can’t fathom that someone hasn’t searched there before. It always seemed the most likely place for him to go, IMHO.This is very sad. I hope whomever this is, their family will be able to find out what happened. I wonder why this victim was undiscovered for so long (though I know it happens).
The first post that a body had been found says it was at Hwy 77 and West Pioneers which is HERE. I see a bunch of trees that look like the sort behind him.I’m from Lincoln, and trying to figure out where exactly he’s standing. It's the cars on the hill across the road that have me stumped. In any case, I think "Highway 77 and West Pioneers" is a general description for Wilderness Park, which is east of the highway and runs North/South for a couple of miles. It's a pretty rugged area, but not so big that with all the people that were searching, it seems someone would have found him (or whomever it is). Not that I think there is anything nefarious about it, just feels weird to me because it's so close to where he lived and seemed, at least to me, to be the most likely place to run to.The first post that a body had been found says it was at Hwy 77 and West Pioneers which is HERE. Are there dog walking paths there along with a place to park somewhere to get to them? It's the cars on the hill across the road that have me stumped. Less than 1000 yards from his house.![]()
‘It’s Tyler.’ Family believes missing Lincoln man has been found after human remains discovered
While officials have not yet confirmed the identity, Goodrich’s family met with investigators Saturday. His father, Lonnie Goodrich, said he believes the body they found is his son.www.1011now.com
Wow!! Not the first time this has happened in a MP case. But it astounds me in every case. David Schultz was found in a corn field almost across the road from his parked semi. It too had been searched.Less than 1000 yards from his house.
He must have hidden himself away because that's WAY too close to be missed all this time with all the searches that were done. I can't wait to hear if they tell us exactly where, etc. Just wow.Less than 1000 yards from his house.
Let's not go conspiracy. This happens all the time. You could easily find 50 cases where searchers were almost literally on top of the body and missed it. All. The. Time.If so close, and not far off the beaten path, you'd THINK searchers would have found him before this. Since they didn't, I wonder why? Hidden somewhere?
The post you're quoting was before I read (and posted) that he was found in a tree. I'm thinking searchers are used to looking down for a body, not up. It didn't make a lot of sense before, but makes total sense now that I know that fact.Let's not go conspiracy. This happens all the time. Either way, it happens all the time. Knox cited a specific example above. The post you're quoting was before I read (and posted) that he was found in a tree.
