neighbors being questioned about handyman

The major thing (we know of) that cries out, "Handyman!" is the fact he hasn't been seen in the neighborhood since baby Lisa's disappearance. That alone makes "Jersey" suitable for checking into, and kudos to KCPD for doing just that.
And according to the video in the OP,
http://www.nbcactionnews.com/dpp/ne...earch-wooded-area-near-her-home#ixzz1abIIKps0
he stayed just a few doors down from the Irwin home, wandering from home to home asking for a place to live + to pick up any work / odd jobs homeowners might have.

JMO - Chances are he asked the Irwins too with everyone else nearby why would he skip over their home?

Well, if he is involved, my only guess would be that it would be as an accomplice. I really think they should put out a picture though to try a little harder to bring him in for questioning. MOO Based on that video, he broke parole, so he should probably be in jail right now anyway.

Police Investigate So-Called Handyman Named Jersey
This is a video report of a man who used to rent a room to "Jersey" and his girlfriend!!
I find this disturbing! Was "Jersey" familiar with the family or the house?

If Jersey has a probation officer wouldn't LE know his real name? Just a thought that it's possible.

Interesting that the elderly woman states she gave Jersey a ride over to Lister street to the home of his buddy and that buddy reportedly lives across the street from Lisa's home.

Quick question? I saw a video report today where the reporter stated that they were unsure if handyman and Jersey are same person or two different people?

Anyone confirm that he's one and the same for me quick? Thanks! :)

Since winter is approaching, and he is homeless, maybe he has gone to a state with warmer climate.

I hope Jersey has galloped far away to greener meadows while bleating "maaahhhh" because IMO, the defense attorneys will likely be looking for a scapegoat.

Until Jersey's mental health status is known, it is ridiculous to compare him to the delusional monster that abducted Elizabeth Smart. Just because Jersey doesn't have a home, is unemployed (but tries to find work), doesn't own a car (but transports himself on a bike), and participated in petty crimes in his past does NOT mean that he is a psychopath or a delusional person that abducts babies.

But it doesn't mean that he's not either, which is why he should be questioned. All of the neighbors in that area have been questioned and had their homes searched. He should be able to answer some questions too imo.

agree. and if they find him with lisa, hopefully she is ok and he didn't panic and hurt her.

Also, without questioning him, couldn't the defense attorneys still use him as a scapegoat. Use this "handyman" theory to create some kind of doubt in a jury? If LE doesn't find him, the defense attorneys will just say that they didn't do a thorough job.

we don't know if he has anything to do with lisa's disappearance yet. his defense attorney will defend him, not use him as a scapegoat.

If he has an alcohol problem, anything is possible. Addicts do crazy things.
An smelly drunk would not likely be able to enter Jeremy's home without his dog barking. A drunk would not likely be able to quietly climb through that front window. A drunk would not likely be able to quietly or quickly maneuver through Jeremy's home, tiptoe past the bedroom where Deborah was asleep TWICE to enter and exit Lisa's room, and then quietly maneuver into the kitchen to steal the cellphones.

Sorry, I was referring to Pensfan's post. I believed Pensfan was implying that if someone else goes to trial (for example, Lisa's mother) for Lisa's disappearance that the handyman would be used as a scapegoat by their defense.

They will find someone to use as a scapegoat. Deborah probably has a Cousin Joe or a hispanic babysitter they can blame like other cases.

The video that was posted stated that he was last seen on Oct 1, 2011. Lisa disappeared on the evening of the 3rd or early am of the 4th.

ooohh! we'll have to see if LE can find him and see if he has Lisa. hopefully he has friends or family that will talk him into turning himself in if that is the case. She needs to be brought home to her parents.

The video recently posted described Jersey as having friends. The elderly woman in the video was not afraid of Jersey and she drove him to a destination in her car. Jersey was stated to be homeless because he was living with his girlfriend in a home, but they were unable to pay the rent. After this, Jersey moved in with another friend in the neighborhood.

Jersey's situation sounds very different than the homeless psychotic schizophrenic that is begging along the inner city street.

Which means that "handyman" hasn't been seen since or after baby Lisa disappeared right?

I hope they can locate him so they can clear him. If not then that's the type of scenario I see a future defense team possibly using to defend someone if there is an arrest in the future (if Lisa's not alive). Just a thought. JMHO.

I wonder why he was spending money in a bar and getting drunk and thrown out if he needs a place to live? Is the girlfriend on the streets also? Is he staying with friends now? Was he staying in the house that was demolished?
