I can't believe these A's. I thought Nejame was very respectful to them. He clearly stated he was not trying to help the prosecution, nor fight the defense, but for justice. He even gave the CD with photos to Conway
as a courtesy to the A's.
 Who does he think he is to storm into a conference and refuse to wait? WTF?

Perhaps what was written in this news article namely the part in bold triggered the interruption...but who knows

Reported ByJacqueline Fell

ORLANDO -- The former attorney for the Anthony family is revealing more about what he knows in the Casey Anthony case.

Attorney Mark NeJame will hold a press conference at his office Thursday at 2 p.m.

In a motion filed earlier, Casey Anthony's defense team wants an Orange County judge to order Tim Miller, president of Texas EquuSearch, to turn over documents.

NeJame is now the attorney for Miller.

Both Miller and NeJame are expected in court at 9:30 a.m. Friday for the hearing

OMG my sista's & bro's this is just unbelievable!!! Thank you Friday!! Please tell Tim to eat his Antacids to avoid ANT-acid reflux! Can GA be charged with disorderly conduct? GA is once again a loose cannon. He's already made gestures to end his life. The next unforseeable action may be hurting someone else if his mental state keeps escalating. Um Umm!

Well yeah, but one would think his COUNSEL would be more restrained. Wasn't Conway with him when he barged in?

Found this on another blog...so it may or may not be true!!
So I just talked to Leonard Padilla. Yes, IT IS TRUE that George rushed the office, (more like stormed in and demanded to be seen) and NO, Brad Conway was nowhere to be found....The reason George stormed in? According to Padilla, the Anthonys will not let anything negative be said about Caylee or Casey. Can you say DYSFUNCTION? Cindy, she was at home, and according to Padilla, Lee was granted immunity because he knew far more than he has ever told.

I asked about Lee's nervous laughter, and Padilla said there was a a ceratin amount of that coming from Lee when they spoke to him. Padilla's take was that Lee knew where the body was, and LP told me that if Casey confided in anyone, it was Lee.

So......as I write this George is still inthe office with the atty. I'm sure they are trying to soothe him, LP told me there was some talk of calling law-enforcement, but the attys nixed it.

Again-not necessarily fact!!

I think the depositions in the civil suit were a perfect example that BC has no control over them. Even awful lawyers like brad know to advise their clients not to act foolish. I think he's given up in trying to control them. But he will stick around because I guarantee you he's going to milk these 15 min as long as he can. I just hope he knows that it makes him look just as foolish... having clients running amok.

I'm glad MN got out when he did and dodged that bullet.

Tim tells me that George, Mark, and BC are now talking to the press together downstairs. Tim has already left to do something else.
How did bC arrive so fast? How does bC talk his way out for his client again? I'm sick of all the attention the A's garner nd wish just once they would be spanked for their inappropriate behavior. As we can see the time out chair is not working! Honestly I want to slap the white right off his bum. I can however see CA belittleing him to fly over there use his manhood to squash MN voice. Ob viously MN put some kind of fear into GA. Glad MN in his pressor left Tim at the helm saying, "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. Just that behavior alone from Tim will keep him doing business at hand. Thats what a good lawyer does. I might like MN just a bit more today!

Casey Anthony's father barges into news conference

Why am I not surprised that George Anthony barged into the press conference and made demands to speak with MN?

It sounds like MN burst the bubble on the defense trying to claim that Caylee's remains were placed there after the area was searched. The aerial pictures showing the area under water along with the forensic botanists who have already stated that the plant life found growing up through Caylee's skeletal remains suggests that her body had been placed there in June, is going to be strong testimony against JB's claim that her body was placed there at a later date by someone else , while Casey was in jail.

Let's hope so..but I doubt it...

I didn't see it happen either; I only learned about it by phone during the interruption. I certainly want to see it though. I'm just...dumbfounded!

If George is this aggressive now against someone saying something that might hurt his daughter's defense, what's he going to be like at the trial!

  • #330
I'm thinking GA has lost his marbles again! That comment by MN had him running with rage to stop those proceedings. This is nothing about GA not wanting to hear "bad" statements about his daughter or grand daughter. GA has shown his puffed out peacok behavior before trying to show his valor in defending Cylees name. Alittle late in the game gA! It seems to me someone thought MN was going to spill some beans that they don't want released and possibly thought they had rights of attorney client privalage during the time MN was hired. I feel MN's comment was to shake the ground out from under a few people and it worked! Touche' Away, MN!

Judge Strickland will never tolerate this kind of behavior in his courtroom! They better get these stoopid antics out of their system before trial or else there will contempt charges and maybe jail time!! They will HAVE to "stifle it" like Archie Bunker used to say!!

I want to be watching the day Strickland tells thems to

After seeing GA and CA's depositions, and seeing BC do nothing, I decided that BC is just along for the ride. He gets his face on television, and his name in newspapers, so he can just chalk his representation of the Anthonys up to free publicity.

So according to the article now recently updated in the Orlando Sentinel...Baez learned of the presser today and called GA about it...telling GA the defense felt the presser and release of the photos was inappropriate. When I said baitor to get GA down there...in my focusing solely on GA thread I meant it...perhaps this is just the defense's way of throwing yet another false SODDI under the bus. We all know that the defense has very little to throw reasonable doubt on KC (all of her lays...potato chips I mean...I in no way am implying she slept around or anything...lol...and friends) so why not throw her entire family under the bus? All in the name of protecting that complete waste of air and space on this planet...KC.

I did think the presser was impromptu...almost as if it was supposed to happen then it was cancelled...but because so many showed up they said okay just no cameras...or just an impromtu thing...and then bam GA shows up without Brad Conway (initially) meets with Najame in a room until BC shows up...then they all leave saying it was a misunderstanding...

Bingo! Makes me wonder what Mark knows that George is so threatened by, to barge in like that during a presser. And with his attorney in tow.

I agree with you 100%
I also agree with Karen that that's the reason GA stormed in there. He thought MN was going to spill the beans (as did I when I first read that quote)

Go to CNN HLN right now. Having MN on right now. Talking about the presser and the blow to the defense dream team...

Casey Anthony case: Casey Anthony's father barges into news conference
Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, demanded to speak with an attorney who represents a volunteer search group.

Casey Anthony's father barged into a news conference today and demanded to speak with an attorney who represents a volunteer search group that looked for his granddaughter last year.

George Anthony spoke to attorney Mark NeJame behind closed doors for several minutes until Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, showed up and joined them.

About 30 minutes later, the three emerged, appearing calm.

George Anthony's daughter, Casey, 23, is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie, last year. The toddler's remains were found in a woods less than a mile from her family home.

George Anthony said he received a call from his daughter's defense attorney, Jose Baez, about the news conference and photos of the wooded area back in November -- a month before the remains were found.

There was a misunderstanding and everything had been resolved, Anthony said.

Neither Anthony nor NeJame would say would the misunderstanding was about.

Jose Baez's spokeswoman, Marti Mackenzie, said the defense team did contact George Anthony and his attorney about the news conference.

"He and the defense team felt the press conference and the release of the photos were improper," she said. The Anthonys may want to let their opinion be known, she said.

NeJame, an attorney for a volunteer search group that looked for Caylee last year, was holding the news conference at his Orlando law office.

NeJame was offering more details on behalf his client, Texas EquuSearch.

The land where Caylee's remains were found -- a vacant property a short walk from where she lived with her mother and grandparents -- was underwater last year, NeJame's office said in statement to reporters and in a letter to the State Attorney's Office before the news conference started.

NeJame's office also released aerial photos showing the property in east Orange County was underwater while searchers were looking for Caylee.

"This seems to clearly contradict any claims that the area was dry previous to Caylee's discovery and the likelihood that Caylee was later brought to that location,'' NeJame's office said in a statement.

Caylee's remains were not found until Dec. 11 -- long after the water receded -- after getting a tip from an Orange County meter-reader.

Meanwhile, Casey Anthony's defense has made another request for information from prosecutors.

In a 90-page motion and corresponding exhibits filed today, defense lawyers Linda Kenney Baden, Andrea D. Lyon and Baez said they want law-enforcement communications with the FBI, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and various experts including a botanist and entomologist.

Defense attorneys requested information in the first-degree murder case against Casey Anthony in March and they have not received the material, the motion said.

Gerogie was afraid that NM was going to reveal some dirty secret.

FYI--

The interruption was because George Anthony just stormed into the conference furiously demanding to talk to Mark and then refused Mark's request to wait until after the conference. He is with Mark now in another room.
H*ly Cr*p!
