I posted this below in a reply below but after thinking about it I should start a new thread. Netflix has just started airing a 3 episode series This is the Zodiac Speaking. For me it leaves absolutely no doubt that Arthur Leigh Allen is the Zodiac. The evidence, albeit largely circumstantial is simply overwhelming. I think you will be astonished that this guy was never charged. I am usually very skeptical of TV documentaries that claim to discover a cold case killer. But this leaves me with no doubt whatsoever. If you disagree please post a response saying why. I would like my skepticism restored.

Hi! I'm sorry, but I can't restore your skepticism. I fully agree with your stance. I'm so convinced the Zodiac was Arthur Leigh Allen after the series. I hope you don't mind that I'm replying anyways.

I made my own thread just a few minutes ago about a certain part of Allen's tape that was shown around minute 18:28 of the third episode; the tape showed the words "The Living End." I can't shake that phrase off. I can't help but think it's important.

(this section is copied from my thread about the phrase): I don't know anything about ciphers or how to decode them, but I was curious to see if the phrase matched the number of characters in the z13 cipher. It didn't. There was only 12 letters in the phrase, so one symbol was left. But, I remembered that the Zodiac misspelled a lot of words, including many words ending with "ing." (Ex. "waiting" as "wateing" or "waving" as "waveing"). So, still assuming there was no spaces in the code, I wrote "The Living End" as "The Liveing End" and expectedly, because the phrase was originally made up of 12 letters, it fit the cypher length perfectly. BTW, I attached an image of the cipher below.

I know this seems like a stretch since z13 is fairly short and therefore has countless solutions. Plus, I have no deciphering to back my solution up, and that's what I've been wanting to know. Do you think "The Liveing End" is even a possible solution for the z13 cipher? I'm so curious about what cryptographers or analysts think about this proposed solution. I'm really curious to see if this solution is even possible and can be proved with deciphering.

This documentary was a waste of time as are most things Zodiac these days. Unless something substantial is found by way of DNA it's just more of the same guessing and outlandish theories to make a quick buck.

I can't be the only one who has figured out that there was in fact 2 Zodiac killers. This is why the descriptions changed later on from Stocky to tall/thin. Also, the Zodiac changing MO after the first few killings by a gun to using a knife? Serial killers don't behave in that manner.
