I thought about this red seat seen in the garage a little more and then went back to the aerial footage because I thought I saw it at the burn pit in back of SA's house when viewing the aerial footage---sure enough that same red seat that was in SA's garage is in the back of his house---ironically NOT burned--I do believe he is guilty--but this doesn't prove his did it or didn't. All I'm saying that at one point that seat was in his garage and at the time of that search it was by the burn pit, un-burned. Which leads me to believe there was more than 1 fire on that property--I believe this actually helps the defense more than supporting my point that he did it
.

Is this SA's garage or Earl's?

I'm not sure--it could be either or--both are in the video. I assumed it was Steve Avery's.

I didn't listen to the interview, I only watched it. Didn't want to wake up my family late last night...LOL

But you didn't throw out a theory. You said Avery called and left a voicemail asking why she never showed up because Kratz, of all people, mentioned it. Casual readers might assume that's a fact of the case when it's not.

And it's fine to have that theory but all the facts of the case point to Avery not even leaving her a message at all. Her cellphone registered a 13 second call. That's enough time for her cellphone to go straight to voicemail, run through the "Hi. You've reached Teresa..." and by the time it gets to the end the caller (Avery) had hung up. His phone records of a 00 second call to her confirm as much. Furthermore, from the second LE and news stations started interviewing him he maintained Teresa had been there, so the theory that he called to leave an alibi message isn't based on reality.

The issue I have with the 4:35 call and having TH come back to photograph another car is that sunset was @ 4:42 on 10/31 as DST had kicked in at midnight on 10/29. Now he may have been trying to get her to come back the next day if he forgot there was another car for sale on the lot.

I believe that is what Strang said in his opening statement, he called her at 4:35 to have her photograph another car he wanted to sell.

That red thing is a small outdoor shed type thing. It's not a seat.

Good morning all :)

I know some of the posters on reddit have been trying to get or find the news footage from Nov 4th..... apparently they were out there, flying over the day after she was reported missing... the theory is.... everyone wants to see if the SUV was there! Would be interesting to see that for sure!

Regarding the 4:35 call.... IF he did call to have her come back to photograph another vehicle, I'm pretty sure the receptionist told him that morning that if she couldn't come that day it would be the following Monday (this is when she typically did her AutoTrader shoots), so I am not sure he would expect her back the next day or any day before the following Monday. She was also out there on October 10th..... that was also a Monday.

I get it---you think he is innocent--I disagree---let's agree to disagree. That should not preclude me from throwing out theories. The whole point of this website is to propose theories, correct? Let's say, to bounce ideas around? You cannot say for certain the reason SA called TH's phone at 4:35pm and neither can I. I'm throwing theories out that is all.

If it is not fact, it's best to include JMO in your posts. I learned that the hard way. ;)

Yes, missy! That's what I believe. She probably went to that area on Mondays. And he wanted her to come back because he may had to wait another week.

I agree there weren't more than 2 shots tops, but I wanted to comment on the caliber. .22s are small caliber rifles, they don't make a lot of noise, and they're used for things like rabbit and squirrel hunting mostly.

As an example.

My neighbors 4 houses down ..maybe 1000 feet away, shot his kid with a .22 in the arm.He was in his kitchen. She was okay ,he is okay. It was an accident. I was leaving my house and heard that shot. They don't make a lot of noise ,but they do sound like a fire cracker but a tiny bit off. I was just outside my door ,and no one inside my house heard it. I knew when I heard it that it was a .22 I think the lack of someone hearing it meaningless. I don't think there were ten shots.

Which might explain why he called @ 4:35 to see if she was still in the area and could come back quickly and photo another vehicle if he knew she couldn't come back until the next Monday.

And regarding TH's other trips to Avery Salvage, why would SA have waited until Halloween to kill her if she had been there a few times before ? And how would SA have known if TH had any more Auto Trader appointments that day and if she didn't make them, it would be noticed immediately ?

right, him calling her to see if she was still close by makes sense, why wait another week if she is close? IMO The Kratz theory of him calling so he can use it as "oh she didn't show up" is totally wrong considering he told Colborn right away on the 3rd that she was there (no report that I can see of this btw) and he told the officer on the 4th as well that she was there and consented and allowed that officer to search his place (this is reported in the warrant to search and I also believe it's in Fassbenders summary, and he is reported as the first officer to go..... somehow Colborn's visit the first night was not reported or something? Colborn did testify to it though..... so it's odd to me) Everything I have read, he never once claimed she was not there...... not once!

One question or thought I had before was if he really wanted to kill her.... why did he call Auto Trader to set it up? I assumed he didn't have her number or he lost it or something. He is reported to say that he did indeed have her number and that is how he called her that afternoon, he said he got it awhile back from AutoTrader. So.... even if the thought crossed his mind, why leave a trail? call her directly and set up the appointment.

The more I read.... the less guilty I think he is, which is troubling because that means that there could be a killer out there. I don't think LE did it, but I still have some serious questions about the SUV, the bones, the key, the bullet, the DNA. I think it is absolutely possible that it was someone else that lives on that property and that LE was so convinced it was him that 1 or maybe 2 (LE and/or Lab worker) uhmmm "helped" the evidence point in his direction.

JMO JMO JMO JMO JMO lol

Also wondering if LE checked with Avery Salvage to see what customers they had between 3-4:15 PM on 10/31. If the propane truck driver saw TH's car turning onto 147 off Avery Road, who owned the green SUV that the driver saw ? Should have been easy to track down receipts from Avery Salvage to see if anyone else would have left the property at that time, yet I've never seen a report that disputes the SUV that left belonging to TH.

LE didn't need to look into that..... they "knew" SA did it.
Just one more example of something they probably didn't even look into.

posting this again. If you have not read it yet, you should!

on page 13, they took SA to the hospital because they had a warrant for his DNA and to inspect his body. 2 swabs were taken in his groin area (ewwwwwww lol) but then it was decided that the warrant didn't cover this, so they were put into a biohazard/sharps bin and SA was taken to another room.

Another source of SA's DNA out there. IMO

this has Fassbender's summary of his interview with SA the day he was arrested.

He said he called Auto Trader in the morning and called again later and they told him she would be coming (do we know about that call???? the 2nd one to Auto Trader?) He said he did call her cell number, 2 or 3 times that day, and that Auto Trader gave it to him awhile back (so he did have it and didn't call her directly earlier in the day???) He does say he called her back later (after she was there) to take photo's of another vehicle but there was no answer.

It's interesting, wish there was a transcript or the video instead. So much can be lost in a 'summary', I think of it like websleuths..... my summary may be different than someone else's summary, depending on whether you think there is guilt there or not, right? LOL

Ugggh though, I'm leaning towards him not doing it.... and I do think it was someone that lives there and was there that day.

ETA: and who is TW????? apparently she is the one that tells SA that a cop told her another cop planted the SUV

TW is Tammy Weber...I read that in the transcripts, I forget what day but it is on pg. 18 of the transcripts. (Day 1 or Day 2, I think)

LE didn't need to look into that..... they "knew" SA did it.
Just one more example of something they probably didn't even look into.

As of March 1st the investigators insisted to Brendan (and got him to agree) that Teresa was already in Avery's trailer when he got off the bus and her car was already hidden in Avery's garage. Obviously they weren't concerned with actually investigating the case otherwise they would have known from the bus driver Teresa's SUV was parked out front and she was standing by Barb's van taking pictures.

TW sounds like she is someone that possibly works with Sheriff officers. Do we know what her relation to the County, as far as her job is concerned?

Ok...you guys are starting to convince me that it is possible that SA didn't kill TH....with that said...I do think he knows who did and was involved in some way...I'm officially on the fence now!

What really bugs me is that burnt seat by the fire pit....it did the first time I saw it....I do believe Tawny is right...I think the video of that red seat IS in EA's garage...so if that is the case...if it is in fact the same seat--then WHY was it taken out of EA's garage and burnt that night?

I never heard they burned a seat from EA's garage. Just that they were burning general items of garbage. Dassey mentioned getting something out of his own garage to burn but that was a cabinet.
