It's kind of sad that for 4 years now she's been aware of his case but wasn't willing to take it on until the documentary was released and it blew up in the media. Makes one think she's definitely in it for the publicity.

here is the article. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ert-Christianity-says-convinced-innocent.html

When she first said she was going to represent him, I was sceptical and wondered how she could have looked into the whole case/trial at that point and decided she would take him on. Who knows... maybe her and/or staff was already looking into the case before the documentary. I don't know when her last case ended, was it recently? maybe freeing up the time for this case. (did a quick google search, she got Mario Casciaro freed, he was released September 23 2015)

Zellner just doesn't strike me as the type to do it for the media... but maybe she is, if for no other reason, because it does highlight some issues with the Justice system.

LOL

I have to say.... there are many times that I'm reading over there that I have to laugh at some of the comments. Today someone asked what happened to the RAV4 and if it's still in evidence... someone else answered Colburn has it, finders keepers LOL

I really don't think it took the whole department to do this. It took 1... maybe 2, I'm not really sure, but it would take me quite a bit to convince me that the whole department didn't look down on the Avery's, and SA specifically.

Also, I should point out that I have done a lot of reading elsewhere (reddit, facebook, online searches)and once you make family connections between some of the key players, it's mind boggling LOL It's been portrayed like they were all co-workers... and my guess is that many of them would see each other at family reunions/weddings, etc LOL We have rules here at websleuths though, for good reason ;-)

"Finders keepers" LOL!

I hope my post didn't come off as disrespectful to Webslueths, that's not what I meant at all! I LOVE The structured format here, (God bless the Mods for the work they put in!) I can go all over the the world wide web, reading all the outlandish content, getting some comic relief, than come *home*, here, where there are boundries and share any gold nuggets, that might be relevent, and feel very greatfull for the Island of sanity in the vast infosphere .

It can get a lil...tense...here though, and I was really kinda worried about hitting the *post* button on that last one... I just have come to enjoy so many people who post here, and I was hoping to bring a laugh, or a smile... a little camaraderie. Not meaning, at all, any disrespect to the seriousness of case we are discussing.

I don't recall if Teresa's camera was found burned, or not at all. I vaguely remember thinking I read that it was found burned in one of the burn barrels?

She's been a little busy...you know...with the exoneration of 17 other men and all...

Yet when I said this exact same thing about Jody, no one saw it that way.

Well, you do need to understand that all of the money she makes and her firm makes is primarily through contributions to the Innocence Project. While she has taken on cases with far less publicity, the high profile cases would undoubtedly help to generate the most money for the project. So yes, she wears fur coats and Louis Vuitton, and I am sure is very successful, at least she is doing good work. And no one has ever said the work she has done hasn't been righteous.

here is a photo of the burn barrel with the electronics. I think her phone, her palm pilot, her camera were found. IIRC the barrel was filled approximately two-thirds of the way up. I can see the electronics on the top. Odd?

there are more photo's here:

I did! What I find interesting about Jodi is.... she was on certain facebook pages until she did that interview.... one's that support SA/BD. AFAIK she is still fb friends with others that are 100% supporters and believe they are innocent, I have not looked recently though. Meh... I hope NG had to fork out a bunch of money for her. She is absent from the shows that were done this past week.... maybe they don't pay for interviews.... JMO

What is a palm pilot anyway? [emoji1]

Just to let everyone know my son Bobby and my husband Scott and my two brothers Earl and Chuck did not murder anyone like the papers are saying. They all believe steven and brendan are innocent. Thank you.

You must not believe Mrs. Zipperer, who was there at the time TH visited to photograph their vehicle, and testified to that fact.

Which of her testimony should I believe. the first testimony she said went against the state and KK didnt like that. She said that TH arrived around 3pm. Then State who needed her to say earlier to fit their time line got her to say it was around 2-2:30. I still think that AS testimony about GZ being a telemarketer lead that was set up in the afternoon of Oct 31 2005. I think she got faxes on her PDA. She was faxed that information to TH, TH called GZ's at 2:12pm to tell them when she would be available, After the AVERY's. Since she set up Avery's appointment for a little after two, she was already on her way to the Averys. As she told DP who called from Auto T at 2:27. My thought is she called to see if she got the fax about GZ. In which TH told her yeah Ill go there after the Avery Brothers which I'm on my way there now. JMO I honestly think that her last appointment that day was GZ's residence as JZ said she was there around 3 o'clock. Why did they not take pictures of their caller ID or even get the So called message about her being lost to the police. I am starting to believe that the call about being lost just did not happen. JMO

Still think RH had something to do with it. JMO

I get it and that's great! Not trying to take anything from that but it must be a coincidence that a month after the documentary was released, she suddenly has all this free time to take it on.

Me too. Do we know where he is now? I bet he's laying low since this documentary came out.

i saw someones blog that wrote RH and said something like you can fool us any longer. And RH replied. Something about dont believe everything you see on tv or something to that effect. Dont think I can post the link But you may be able to search it.

She just finished the Mario Casciaro case a few months back. I'm sure she is high demand, despite what you seem to imply about her being a publicity hound. From what I've read, she has said on numerous occasions she would not take a case if she thought the accused party was guilty.

I didn't say she was a publicity hound. I have no negative thoughts about her but do I think the popularity of this case peaked her interest. Absolutely as it has multiple lawyers at this point I'm sure. She tweets about it daily, to keep people's interest. She does great work getting wrongful convictions over turned, that's amazing. She is certainly getting very well known through this case. This case has drawn interest from millions, most of which have no idea who her other clients are. That is my point sorry is seen as negative.

It can take a while to develop a case and clear one's calendar. Whatever her motivation, if the truth is finally reached and justice is finally done, I'm in her crew.

Whichever way it goes.

No worries ... I'd like to see the list of folks sitting in jail that she's turned down because she thought the convicted was actually guilty. I believe that if she thinks she can get SA's conviction reversed, she must have some pretty compelling new evidence.
