I think the aerial photo of the property is somewhat deceiving too... she had to go up a hill to get up there... I think that makes it stick out more. On that note.... they did an awesome job of disguising it from the flyover on the 4th.

Did I read somewhere that she found the car within the first 10 minutes of searching? Wouldnt it have taken a little longer than that to walk all that way especially if some of it was a hill?! I may have misheard the testimony she gave when talking about searching for the car but I remember thinking she found it awfully fast with the time frame she said she found it in.

Glad you mentioned the flyover on the 4th. I saw that being discussed on reddit but couldn't figure out if it was ever determined when the flyover was taped. I saw the video, and I didn't see the RAV4, but it's really hard to tell. I was hoping to find some clearer photos. This is all I have:

There is some good discussion in the comments.

TheDuchess ~ that video.... was after the RAV4 was found. The first clue is .... the roadblocks and the cops are there. They weren't there before the RAV4 was found. I know there was testimony about photo's or video's taken by the police on the 4th... not sure why they weren't used... by either side. I mean... they do know how to zoom in, right? I am not sure if news crews were out there before the RAV4 was found, if they were, they have not put those video's online. I wonder if Zellner has since received copies of any video's.... it seemed like the defense didn't during the trial, but not sure.

I've never seen this before. Sad. His children have suffered so much. Here is an interview with one of the twin boys. Heartbreaking.

And to think he missed out on 18 years of their life for something he didnt do. So very sad!

Morning guys! Think there's anything to this, "Edward Wayne Edwards" guy being the real killer? I had heard a little bit about him, some claim to have spotted him in the doc, briefly too. There was an article about him today, I thought was interesting:
http://radaronline.com/celebrity-ne...evidence-serial-killer-murder-teresa-halbach/

I'm not sure why people are saying he lived in Wisconsin at the time TH was murdered. He lived there 25 years before in 1980. In 2009, he was living in Kentucky.

Edwards was living in Kentucky, where he moved with his wife in 2000, when DNA evidence linked him to the Wisconsin murders.

Police in Louisville said he moved into a trailer park on the outskirts of town in 2000.

They found bone fragments in 1 barrel, the burn pit, and I think 2 in the quarry (pelvic bones).

IMO from what I have read, you can generate that much... but you have to maintain that heat for a long time, which is not as easy.
I am curious to what Zellner comes up with this, because she tweeted about it awhile back saying that the heat needed wouldn't be possible with the garage and the propane tank so close. Read the testimony about the bones/firepit, both for the state and for the defense, the opinions about the bones being moved, etc.

It's just one more thing that doesn't make sense to me... the moving of the bones and the firepit. I guess 2 more things haha

ST said he saw a huge fire that night...I wonder if he smells anything funny, like you know...

The timeline is crazy... no one knows what time it is, and it's kinda frustrating. Can't even find proof that she was at Zipperer's before or after Avery's. Bobby says 2:45.... but can he be believed? The bus driver.... I am not sure she seen her that day or a different day, it does seem to be a really long distance for her to have seen TH taking pictures, and IIRC she wasn't even sure it was that day.

In one of the police interviews, I think it was BD's first one, they mention she had an appointment in Green Bay that she didn't make it too. She made a call at 11:31am... to a Daniel Morrow, he cancelled on Oct 29th, it was a 3 minute call and I'm thinking she rescheduled it for that day but never showed up. He was also on the potential witnesses list (not sure for who... defense or prosecution). If she was having troubles finding the Zipperer residence.... did she say screw it and go to Avery's hoping someone would call her back with the directions? In JZ's statement, she doesn't mention that TH had troubles finding the residence, no mention that she left a message at 2:12.

On another note: When I put in the address that is on the sheet, I get nothing on google maps but it gives me suggestions, if you are from the area, would you know what County Trunk B means? Google is suggesting County Road B (which I think is right, isn't it? LOL) On mapquest, I don't even get a suggestion LOL Was google maps around in 2005? I seen someone post on reddit about it last night but I was tired, I'm thinking because she is from the area, she would know though, right?

County Truck B is the same as County Road B....in Manitowoc.

With tires and enough fuel I'm sure the fire would get hot enough but would somebody be able to get close enough to the fire to break down the bones so they would burn better?

I wonder if that is why bones were found OUTSIDE the fire pit!

My husband is from an area just north of there and we have a place up there too. Many people have huge bonfires..and I mean huge!

Think the arrows point to the jack location. but it seems like something like a jack is on the front passengers side floor that looks like a jack. Trying to see the passengers side door for the tool location but either its not the passengers side back. it may be the front which I can't see in this picture.

Is this TH's car?

ok..... look in the top right corner... I think that's where the tool's go, the cover is missing.

ETA: I believe the jack is under the seat, not sure if it's in the front or back passenger side. No mention of the jack missing or anything though.

No, I own a Toyota 4 Runner have owned 3, same model. That is only a storage area for like jumper cables and the such.

Just thought I'd share a picture of TH I found. She was at a wedding of one of her friends. Unsure if she did the photography but thought was around her neck was interesting and gave me reason to think she did leave that lanyard key in her car for when she did events lasting longer than 10 15 minutes.

Not sure the pink is but you can see a dark blue by the orange...which looks like in comes down under the pink...you could be right!

ST said he saw a huge fire that night...I wonder if he smells anything funny, like you know...

He didn't say it in his November 10th interview :gaah:

lol IF there was a fire that night... if they didn't smell ya know.... then the smell of the tires had to have been horrible on their own. No comments about the smell though either way.

BREAKING: Bomb threat called in to Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, police say

The best advice I can give to you is to read the trial transcripts...here is a link the the transcripts:

http://www.stevenaverycase.org/

I believe if my memory serves me (which it doesn't always!) is that the car was found about 30 to 45 minutes after she began her search.

BTW this picture of her with what looks like a different lanyard, the woman next to her was the Bride. Her friend. but maybe she photographed her friends wedding.
