Was anyone else having troubles loading the site?

I was going through withdrawals LOL

Did I read somewhere that she found the car within the first 10 minutes of searching? Wouldnt it have taken a little longer than that to walk all that way especially if some of it was a hill?! I may have misheard the testimony she gave when talking about searching for the car but I remember thinking she found it awfully fast with the time frame she said she found it in.

20 minutes

Ok.. well, on our down time... I was over at reddit.... some interesting tidbits....
The tarp was not on the RAV4 for very long. I didn't realize this, maybe you all did?

Also... there are posts over there about the RAV4 drivers door being unlocked on Sunday morning when the lab tech went... has anyone seen this in the transcripts? I've been kind of busy today, and I have to go to bed early (gotta work early blahhh lol). I've been looking..... can't find it yet, will keep searching lol

Exactly! Why use the tarp to remove it? Where did they get it from?

I don't know how I didn't notice... or someone here didn't point it out sooner LOL apparently the tarp was off before the rain even started... wth, right? Wouldn't want to preserve anything on the outside of the vehicle.

I still want to know more about who unlocked the door before the lab tech guy got there.

From Manitowoc County Scanner.

To answer a few questions, from the information I have right now, the first threat call came in at 18:37 and said there were explosives near the Courthouse/Jail/Sheriff's Dept./Dispatch Center area of town and the caller did mention that this was "justice for Steven" (a direct quote from the caller). Police did say it was "likely" that the call came from "out of the area". Officers quickly quarantined off the area. After searching all the buildings with the help of the Green Bay Bomb K-9, an all clear was given shortly after 21:00. Shortly after this all clear, around 21:20, a second call came in stating that there is going to be a "massacre tonight" (quote from Manitowoc Police Captain). So far nothing has been found, nor have there been any confirmed shots fired. As of 22:00 we have an all clear in the downtown area. The City of Manitowoc PD, Sheriff's Department, Two Rivers Police Department and Green Bay Police Department are all assisting in the investigation. The best thing to do right now is to avoid the area if at all possible and let the detectives and officers do their work. If you see something you believe to be out of the ordinary, please call 911. This is a very serious matter that the police are taking very seriously. I will do my very best to keep you as up to date as I possibly can.

Also, how it is possible it got towed there and hooked on via the front. Where the damage is.

The times appear to be off again, as usual.

This is a Canadian podcast. They interviewed Dr. Fairgrieve, he is the anthropologist that testified for the defense. The 2 interviewing... are married....he's a defense lawyer, she was a prosecutor... and her Mom was a Supreme Court judge in Canada.

ETA: he is mentioning some of the differences between here in Canada and in the US. Interesting...

Geesh, the people calling need to put their tinfoil hat down.... shut off their phones and go to bed!

Dr. Fairgrieve: he didn't like that the anthropologist deemed her death to be from homicidal violence (he makes a comment a bit later that it would be the Coroner here in Ontario that would do that) He knew Dr. Eisenberg before the trial. He thought they at least had somebody that he thought knew what she was doing (hahaha). He agreed with 85% of what Eisenberg reported. He actually looked at the xrays before doing this podcast to refresh his memory, he agrees about the gun shot wounds... but says no way he could say what her cause of death was (was she strangled before? did she have a stroke? etc.)

Around the 28-29min mark: One of the most important area's about the scene are where the remains are, and one needs to be extremely careful with the recovery and the documentation, and uncovering the remains. Geesh... he goes on to talk about how important it is to remove those bones carefully and it would have been able to tell us whether they were moved there or not... basically saying because they shovelled and sifted her remains, they couldn't. He says... the first thing you do is... WAIT FOR AN EXPERT that knows what bone looks like! (geesh I don't feel so bad about questioning this process now) He said that was not followed here.... one of the most important aspects of this whole thing.... they should have waited for an expert, it would have answered a whole bunch of questions. (IMO this leads me to believe... they may have already known the answer and didn't want an expert there.... and people wonder why some of us have doubts smh) He says the photography was terrible. And the photography was not done by a police officer... it was done by a photography student (he was told by buting/stang) <<< GEESH! GEESH! GEESH! and double GEESH! He does have some photo's that were taken... of buckets of stuff, no record of them though or paper trail.

Talks about the bones being moved... how he didn't necessarily agree with her "they weren't moved". He talks about cases he's had where the majority were moved. Talks about trying to burn a body on an open fire.... not easy. Had a case that it took the guy 2-3 days. He took issue with the burnpit being the main burn site.... there were other (better) ways on the property to burn her. He says the burn barrel would actually be better, but he hasn't seen it, so he can't say if that's where she was burned either.

The biggest thing that irked him was... the homicidal violence opinion. He can't figure out why or how she could make the determination... he says the prosecutor (not Kratz) was not happy with him LOL

They talk about the guilty of murder/ not guilty of mutilation of a corpse verdicts. He says that Stang/Buting talked to him quite a bit... shared their suspicions about Lenk... but never ever did they ever insinuate that he or LE had anything to do with her death.

His opinion, not as an expert.... but just because they asked him.... the RAV4 with her blood in the back of it... indicates that she was there, and why would he put her there to take her to his back yard to burn her? He thinks she was transported in the vehicle to where-ever and then removed and then the vehicle was taken to the the yard. He said the questions are... where was she taken? and then how did her remains get back to the pit? <<<< I'm only sharing this because I think it might give some insight into what Buting/Stang thought at the time because he talked to them. He doesn't say SA or anyone else doing it... just a theory.

It was a good podcast! Glad I listened to it, now I have to go to bed LOL

Wonders about the Jack in the front seat. not only am I wondering if there was one of her tools missing, as it has been said. There was a jack on the floor in the front passengers side. When was this removed to take the other known pictures of the front seat. The front seat picture we know has already been cleaned some what since the stuff in her dash console is cleaned out. What happened out on the road, Who hit her, why did she need her jack and where is the TOOL that could possibly have been a weapon of some sort?

I really wish I could get my hands on EVERY single picture and in the order they were taken.

I am on the fence again! hahahaha. I do believe he deserves a fair and just trial, I will say that. The fact that MCSD didnt back off was a huge problem for me. However I was starting to lean towards framed and completely innocent, However I don't know again. The more I read and find out the more I back up onto the fence again. For instance the blood vial and packaging may have been handled in 2002. Still looking into this.

Of course if it had been it was still handled wrong in my opinion. With no paperwork stating why they'd open it. If opened they should have followed the protocol of making sure the evidence was sealed properly. Scotch tape was not proper and that alone should be looked at, if for nothing else to fix the way the evidence is stored and handled. In an open box that someone could simply go through in the middle of an office does not seem right.

And on this note I do believe LE did plant some evidence, the Key. I just dont know about the blood. Maybe they did frame a guilty man. Still dont make it right.

JMO's thoughts and theories

I saw some DATELINE? episode last Saturday on the case. What I took away from it was that practically ALL blood gets into the vials via a needle, a nurse testified that SHE put the hole there and some big deal blood collection guru stated that it's normal for blood to collect between the stopper and glass due to the decreasingly tighter fit ie: stoppers get narrower towards the tip. For obvious reasons, so they can fit into the vial blah blah blah............

UNLESS you live in a smaller town or even a city where EVERY person knows you, your family, your business.

The teachers you had in school may now be teaching your own children, if they aren't retired. A couple are even principles. Members of LE's participate in many activities in the community, etc.

You really haven't a clue what these jurors may have been feeling, if indeed any of them were afraid to speak up.
That is all.

I'm sitting here thinking anything is possible... intimidation OR they just didn;t care anymore at some point. After weeks of trial, failure to agree, arguing amongst themselves, possible distaste for another and the desire to just GO HOME?? Makes you also wonder if, at some point, they just fill out their cards and say SCREW IT.....?

He wasn't just an ex that she had no dealings with anymore, she saw him the day before she disappeared. I've suspected him from the beginning. We'll be hearing more about him. I believe he is KZ's focus.
Would have been nice if let's say.............................. mutual friends had been asked about the nature of their relationship, break-up, history of jealousy etc. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

There are now some questions about whether or not there was even a fire there at SA's the night of 10/31. Since all of the initial interviews have been made accessible to the public, it's become apparent that NO ONE mentions a fire that night on their first interviews, not even Scott Tadych. His initial interview with the police he tells them when he showed up he saw SA, Barb, and one of her sons standing outside the trailer talking, but he makes no mention of a fire. As does no one else, not Bobby, Blaine, Steven, etc.... Just another curious thing about this case to add to the list of illogical facts. When police FIRST interview people just DAYS after that Halloween night, no one says anything about that fire, until several interviews later.

After several interviews later AFTER the cops started picking through it and the property. If I'm burning a body in a barrel in the back yard I'm sure as h*ll not drawing attention to it if the cops aren;t looking there. And to the rest of the family it could have seemed irrelevant, been an over-sight, or even seemed to prejudicial if I'm a family member paranoid about my relative being framed or falsely convicted again. Just my thoughts...........

I have been reading about him on Cold Case Cameron. The theory was put out by a man who is an expert on cold cases and his theory sounds really interesting, particularly because of other crimes being done on Halloween and other holidays. That said, he also believes that EWE is responsible for over 100 other cases, many of them high profile, such as JonBenet Ramsey, Laci Peterson and Chandra Levy. So I think many are taking it with a grain of salt. However, if you look at the photo from the documentary, it certainly looks like him....a LOT!!! Cameron claims that EWE enjoyed not just murdering people but setting other people up for the murders. He lived an hour away from SA when the crime was committed and he really was a sick twisted man.
