One, Garcia, shows up in our thread I linked to above but there's discussion that they had links to other "Boy Lovers". Even though they were arrested in September 2009, I only see one conviction so far...Neal Maschke got 108 months back for possessing and trading child in late 2010. Some of the other men were manufacturing/producing/distributing child .

Yes!!!! Boy lovers website is well known and I believe has been mentioned on here in the past as in we couldn't understand why it was allowed to operate so openly. So glad to see it is going down! I believe there is a girl lovers site also, hope they get that one too.

Missizzy I think what you have put here is exactly what is happening. Over the years I have read so much on child sexual abuse and yes the studies confirm that it is a viscous cycle. How to fix it I dont know, but I do wish there was a way to take child sexual offenders completely out of sociey, so that the cycle is broken for newer generations. This may offend some people, but I have quite often suggested to my husband that they need to be put on an island like they did with lepers in the old days.

However their victims would need to undergo extreme therapy and monitored to break a cycle.

I just wish the authorities would try SOMETHING, as this is a subject I beleive affects the worlds society is so many ways.....all bad.

It appears that back in 2009 these fine upstanding citizens of Georgia were members of this group and were arrested.

Daryl Demke, Dale Hodges of Roswell aged 27, Joseph Giddings of Cumming aged 24, and his boyfriend Wayne Vernon aged 64.

One of the brainyards tried to burn some DVD's during the arrest.

Prayers for all these poor little boys. May they somehow find peace and coping mechanisms after all they have been through.

Revampz--I'd laugh if it wasn't so tragic but I've been wondering about that island for a long long time. So much more work needs to be done on studying this crime/sickness/obsession and possible treatments. We simply cannot afford to lock up 70,000 people indefinitely and I rail against physically healthy and bright men and women literally sitting on their bunnies giving nothing back to society for decades. I want more active debates and creative solutions. We've got to move past triage and work to make some changes. There's got to be a way to turn this bus around.

I wonder how many of those members are now packing up, burning and preparing to run?
I hope they do get the member list and start knocking on all the doors. When they were congregating on websites, they did a lot of instigating, plotting and support of each other as well as evidently sharing. And IMO it was making them bolder and teaching them new ways to target and avoid getting caught.

I did go there after one of the discussions about the site. IMO they were hoping to set something up similar to the gay community's push to decriminalize gay relationships. They all denied that any child was harmed by their actions, all insisted that the children "chose" and were never forced, tricked, or emotionally abused by their actions. That is how they justified what they were doing. But of course what they were doing offline, of course is something different.

One article I read said that lawyers in the US are hoping to name the perps and what States they are from.

Meanwhile we have one of the "higher ups' from Australia only getting 2 and half years. A lousey two and one half years for 20,997 images downloaded and 1,023 videos of children being raped by full grown creeps.

Ralph Ian Assheton aged 49 is an accountant in Australia. He's presently locked up but not for long.
