Circumstances of Disappearance​

Jayson visited Amsterdam on 22/10/1989 with a few colleagues. Shortly after arriving at the Eureka Hotel, Jayson visited the red-light district and the Cafe De Burgh. At approximately 23:30 hours, Jayson, who was intoxicated, was still present with his colleagues in the bar. Reports range between 20 seconds to 5 minutes from when he was last seen to someone noticing he had disappeared. Jayson was not found in the bar and his colleagues could not find him outside. He did not return to his hotel and his colleagues informed the local Police when Jayson did not return by the following evening. Jayson has remained missing since and there has been no contact with his family.''

''Officers are appealing for any information on the individuals pictured, including Coventry man Jayson Duffy. He was 18 years old and had been on a business trip in Amsterdam when he disappeared in 1989.''

'Duffy was last seen late at night in the Café de Burgh with two associates but left without warning. Searches have turned up nothing, but West Midlands Police said they are 'keeping an open mind.'

I feel for his family. He was only 19-years-old and this case is very sad.
Normally in this situation I would think maybe he fell into a body of water trying to get back to his hotel, but normally he would have said good-bye to his colleagues before leaving.

So I wonder were there any other reports of anything suspicious at this bar?
