GUILTY Netherlands - Malaysia Flight MH17 shot down in Ukraine. 298 aboard. 7/17/2014 #4

  • #281
I read "somewhere", maybe even here - that the Rebels and/or Russians were trying to shoot down an Aeroflot plane, and blame it on the Ukrainians... therefore getting "free rein" of the Ukraine country side.

I read that too and cannot find the link either..... :findinglink:

According to my TL on Twitter, this was mentioned tonight by BBC Panorama in their report about the downing of MH17 .

(That's how you get to see things without actually seeing them ;) )

IMAGES SHOW THE BUK THAT DOWNED FLIGHT MH17, INSIDE RUSSIA, CONTROLLED BY RUSSIAN TROOPS

Iggy Ostanin aka Magitsky reports for Bellingcat
https://bellingcat.com/news/uk-and-...7-inside-russia-controlled-by-russian-troops/

New evidence has been found that shows the Buk missile system that was used to shoot down MH17 on the 17th of July came from Russia, and was most likely operated by Russian soldiers. Using videos posted by locals in Russia’s Belgorod region back in June it has been possible to identify the Buk missile launcher seen in Ukraine on July 17th as part of a convoy of Buk missile launchers. It has also been possible to identify the Russian brigade the Buk is likely to have belonged to, and who may have operated the Buk missile launcher when it was in Ukraine.

The Buk launcher can be identified because of a number of features, including white markings on the left side side of its chassis, and what looks like the traces of a number that has been painted over.

Incredible guys at Bellingcat ! If it can be identified through the internet, they will do it. True websleuths.
I read an interview with "Brown Moses", the creator of Bellingcat, and the number of videos, webpages etc that he watches, defies imagination.

Here is an English version of the preliminary report released by the Dutch Safety Board today.

http://www.onderzoeksraad.nl/upload...3acad0ceprem-rapport-mh-17-en-interactief.pdf

"Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 broke up midair after being hit by "a large number of high-energy objects," according to a detailed investigation published Tuesday. The preliminary report by the Dutch Safety Board (DSB) stopped short of saying a missile downed the plane, but pointed toward an "external cause" for the crash and said there was no evidence of a technical fault or crew actions."

"No warning tones were detected from the cockpit and air traffic controllers confirmed they had not received a distress signal, the report said."

“The damage observed in the forward section of the aircraft appears to indicate that the aircraft was penetrated by a large number of high-energy objects from outside the aircraft,” the report said. “It is likely that this damage resulted in a loss of structural integrity of the aircraft, leading to an in-flight break-up.”
_____

Christopher Yates, an aviation safety specialist at Yates Consulting, said the report “is extremely consistent with damage from a missile for the simple reason there are penetration marks.”

“It must have been moving at very high velocity to create the damage. It could only be a missile of the type that would reach the altitude that would have struck the aircraft, potentially a BUK missile,” he added.
_____

A highly placed rebel officer told the AP in the aftermath of the disaster that the plane was shot down by a mixed team of rebels and Russian military personnel who believed they were targeting a Ukrainian military plane. Intercepted phone conversations between the rebels released by the Ukrainian government support this version of events.

In those tapes, the first rebels to reach the scene can be heard swearing when they see the number of bodies and the insignia of Malaysia Airlines.

AIR INDIA FLIGHT WAS 90 SECONDS AWAY WHEN MISSILE STRUCK MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT MH17

Times of India reports:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...Airlines-Flight-MH17/articleshow/38702536.cms

MUMBAI: The ministry of civil aviation's claim that there was no Air India flight near the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 when it was shot down over Ukraine on Thursday appears misleading.

An Air India Dreamliner flight going from Delhi to Birmingham was in fact less than 25km away from the Malaysian aircraft, a distance covered by a Dreamliner or Boeing 777 in about 90 seconds, when the latter was hit. Because of this closeness, the Dnipropetrovsk (local Ukrainian) air traffic controller asked the AI pilots to try and establish contact with pilots of the Malaysian aircraft who had stopped responding to its calls.

Minutes before the crash caused by a missile strike, the AI pilots had also heard the controller give the Malaysian aircraft MH17 what is called "a direct routing". This permits an aircraft to fly straight, instead of tracking the regular route which is generally a zig-zag track that goes from one ground-based navigation aid or way point to another. "Direct routing saves fuel and time and is preferred by pilots. In this case, it proved fatal," said an airline source.

"The AI Dreamliner was less than 25km away from the Malaysian aircraft when the latter was hit by a missile. When the pilots learnt the cause of the crash later, they were stunned. It's like the person standing next to you has been hit by a sniper bullet," said the source.

MAIN CONCLUSIONS OF THE REPORT OF THE DUTCH SAFETY BOARD

RTL-NIEUWS reports
http://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/binnenland/belangrijkste-conclusies-rapport-mh17

The Dutch Safety Board (OVV) has presented its report on the initial findings on the cause of the plane crash with flight MH17 in Ukraine. Here are the main conclusions:

The flight was normal and ended abruptly at 13: 20.03 hours.

There are no indications that the crash was caused by a technical failure or by the actions of the crew.

The researchers found no evidence that the flight recorders have been manipulated.

Flight MH17 has been pierced from outside by a large number of objects with high energy and has disintegrated in the air.

The Safety Board further concludes that there is no evidence that prior to the crash there was a malfunction or an emergency.

It has not been possible for the investigators to do extensive research on the wreckage.

Seven seconds before the disaster the pilots of MH17 still had contact with air traffic control.

At the time of the plane crash, flight MH17 had deviated nearly 7 kilometers to the left from the planned route. Reason was the weather.

There were no other aircraft in the vicinity of the MH17. The nearest aircraft flew approximately 30 kilometers away.

Metal objects were found in the bodies of the crew. These are currently under investigation and may provide more clarity.

The final report of the board will be ready within one year.

Just finished reading the preliminary report and noticed on page 12 in Figure 2, they have an airplane labeled A330 - and I noticed that Aeroflot uses A330; wonder if this is the plane they really wanted to shoot down??

'I HAD TO DIVE INTO A DITCH INTO THE MUD'

"I had to dive into a ditch in the mud to shelter from mortar shells"

It has been eight days since the cease-fire in Ukraine, but today, according to journalists, there is heavy fighting at the airport in Donetsk.
Rudy Bouma, reporter for Nieuwsuur, is in eastern Ukraine. Today he visited the crash site of MH17 and was caught among the heavy fighting. He had to flee:

"I had to dive into a ditch into the mud for shelter from mortars. Ukrainian soldiers told me you have to be bonkers to do an investigation here "

Last week the separatists agreed on a cease fire with the government in Kiev. That was adhered to reasonably well so far - with exception of a few breaches. Near the crash site of MH17 all remained quiet too.
Up to now, that is. An investigation at the location is not being made easier. Last Monday, The Netherlands sent additional investigators to the disaster area - without a guarantee that they would actually be able to do an investigation.

"Politely explain to the Dutch that they are bonkers when they come here," said Ukrainian soldier to me while we shelter from mortar fire # MH17

"How the f*ck do you want to get away from here from the mortar shelling? We evacuate you with our convoy," offers an Ukrainian soldier.

Bounty on mastermind behind the MH17-shooting down

September 17, 2014, Jens Brambusch

A private investigator offers 30 million dollars for information leading to the person or persons behind the shootdown of MH17 over the Ukraine. His clients are unknown.

The clarification of the crash of the Malaysian passenger plane MH 17 on the Eastern Ukraine is faced with a spectacular turnaround. Since the international team of investigators can not provide insights into the causes of the crash after nine weeks since the disaster, now a German private investigator has offered 30 million dollars for information leading to the person or persons behind the alleged shoot down. The clients of bounty hunt are unknown.

As Capital (issue 10/2014) reported, Josef Resch from the Economic Investigation Wifka has to find out who was involved in the crime and who covers them up to this day. In addition to the $ 30 million, the anonymous customers offer whistleblowers a new identity.

"Everyone can be bought, it is only a question to the sum of money," says Resch.

More info on:
http://www.wifka.de/wer-hat-mh17-ab...r-belohnung-fuer-hinweise-auf-die-taeter.html
Text also available in English:

Wifka wants to know:
– Who shot down MH17 on July 17?
– Who gave the order?
– Who covers up the shoot down? (Also, if it was by accident and not out of political, economic or military motivation)
– Who can provide details on the circumstances that led to the shoot down?
– Who was directly involved with the shoot down?
– What happened to the people that were involved with the shoot down? What happened to the weapon used?
- Who can name the people that cleared the shoot down?

Whoever provides evidence that identifies those behind the shoot down, will be given the reward of 30 million dollars. The money is securely deposited in Zurich, Switzerland. It will be paid there or in a different neutral place of the whistle-blower’s choice.

Wifkas client offers to give the whistle-blower a new identity.

AUSTRALIAN FM BISHOP STATEMENT TO UN SECURITY COUNCIL

Text of speech by FM Julie Bishop:
http://www.foreignminister.gov.au/speeches/Pages/2014/jb_sp_140919.aspx

Australia welcomes the release on 9 September of the preliminary report from the Dutch Safety Board. The first official account of the tragedy was prepared in strict accordance with International Civil Aviation Organisation guidelines.

The report draws on data from the black boxes, satellite imagery and photos from the crash site. Its findings are based on an objective analysis of the available evidence. This is vital for a transparent and accountable investigation.

It is a welcome step forward in achieving the full, thorough and independent international investigation demanded by Resolution 2166.

In accordance with Annex 13 of the Chicago Convention, the preliminary report does not attribute blame or liability for the incident – this is the role of the multinational criminal investigation led by the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, which is currently underway. Lest there be any misunderstanding, this is the domain of the criminal investigation.

The Australian Government’s initial assessment was that MH17 had been shot down by a surface to air missile. The preliminary report has not reached any conclusions, but certainly the aircraft damage shown in the report is consistent with our view.

We continue to demand that international investigators be allowed to return safely to the crash site of MH17, consistent with Resolution 2166. And Australia is committed to returning to the site, when it is safe to do so, and in the company of our Dutch and Malaysian partners.

We are deeply concerned by reports that OSCE observers were gravely endangered during the course of a recent agreed monitoring mission. The observers were shelled en route to the site, and later threatened with violence by armed groups. These incidents show that it is still unsafe to return to the site.

And let me be clear – the security situation around the site – and in much of eastern Ukraine has deteriorated because of Russian support to armed separatists groups. That support continues and it must cease.

Madam President,

In adopting resolution 2166 this Council demanded unanimously that those responsible for this atrocity be held to account. The international community – and above all the victims’ families – expects that this will happen.

And this must happen.
