Brilliant! this is exactly what he will say. this is the big story that will be revealed at trial...I think we should start a thread on possible defense theories...I'll do it.

Please don't...you know "they" probably read here...don't want to give them any brilliant ideas. :)

The thing is, no matter what story / stories the spokeperson comes out with there will always be some folks who choose to believe or want to believe.

The more they release info, credible or not, they will increase the % of followers who believe more and more Caylee is alive and there will be good news.

Like the Meet-and-Greet, the Anythony's will win over supporters and followers and those that just want a happy ending. They are not going to analyze or research the info. Just take it at face value.

Just like politics -- it is the sound bites that count -- doesn't have to be accurate or true, just that busy folks catch the sound bites and remember only them. Recollection is, they are close to finding Caylee alive. First perceptions stick.

It is now time for the big push to influence the future Jury pool as we head into the month of December. I see them initiating an on-going political campaign now to influence everyone they can.

I am all for it-convincing the jury pool in the state of FL that Caylee might be alive more than levels the playing field. OH yeah, there was that grand jury that didn't buy it, but you never know about a non seasoned group. In any case, Baez is no FLee Bailey-he will not have the capacity to argue pretrial publicity tainted the jury pool to the moon and back...I think OJ's criminal trial was a great precedant for that-there is NO WAY Casey has the star power that OJ had, and clearly he had a fair trial. (I am talking about his case regarding Nicole of course....)

The bible also tells us:
  • Honour thy father and thy mother
  • Thou shalt not kill
  • Neither shalt thou steal
  • Neither shalt thou bear false witness (against thy neighbor)

Hmm....

Not to get OT here...but this is interesting. I guess it depends if you are a Christian and follow the new testament or only the old testament. Jesus said "turn the other cheek " Since though shall not kill has exceptions does it not? What about honor thy father and mother? this has exceptions as well

I agree but I'm just wondering IF possibly he thinks playing dumb might yield him results. lol

We've never seen him walk & chew gum at the same time & for good reason! LOL

I think he is going for inadequate defense for the appeal...jmo.

George is trying to help Cindy but he's actually prolonging her agony. He needs to help her start seeing the truth regardless of how it hurts her. Not an easy thing to have to do.

Yes, and I honestly do feel terrible for George. I don't believe he had anything to do with a cover-up as some people have theorized.

I thank all of you and w/s for having a place to share thoughts, feelings, ideas and ask lots and lots of ???? This case really has hit home, I never bloged until Caylee...and it just seems that the drive for me to find Caylee is because of the pain I see in CA....sometimes it hurts so bad.....do I think she is crazy?...yes....but I understand and wish there was more I could do to help her with that....Caylee is gone...and I believe sleeping until someday the lord brings her back...so to me Caylee is safe....now....but her grandmother is suffering and I dont think she can start to heal until we find Caylee remains..I also want justice for Caylee and that will come when her mother goes to trial...Im not saying that I support what the family is doing....but I understand why CA is so nutts......the other members need to step up to the plate and stop the madness

IMO, the blame lies with those who feel they have the right to judge others.

Many aren't able to see their own faults but can easily find those of total strangers.

What draws you to a crime discussion board, may I ask?

I'm not sure he can get to Cindy. We see them together-but are they really together? I'm not sure he is really part of the inner circle on Hopesrings Dr. I think Cindy has to have a confidante, but is it George? Does she feel that she can really trust him. After hearing his tapes and being the only one of the family called to the GJ, does she feel comfortable sharing with him?
Like I said before-I think they are becoming prisoners of their own spin. They are in so deep now, they are drowning in the spin.

I agree with you. I was merely responding to Chicana's post with more bible verses.

it would be a better way to help the prosecution. they actually do this to be ready to counter their arguments. We can just give them a head start. If they know what the defense will go with, its much easier to counter and explain in your case why the defense theories are unsupported.

You are so right. Nothing but facing the truth will help these people in the long run...even in the near short term. Their willfull determination to dwell in insanity is not only maddening to us, it's destructive to them, and there will be a point of no return, a place where they will have gone so far from reality that it will be impossible to get back. I despair that none of them, or anyone close to them, seems willing or able to pull them back out of the black hole. It's so frustrating. They aren't helping anyone, not really. Caylee lays unmoured. Casey's soul continues without redemption. The A's fritter any opportunity they have for healing and to make something out of this desparate nothingness. I think most of us watch this in horror, not only at the destruction which has already taken place but for that which is transpiring before our very eyes.

Note to Jose:

Here's a credible lie you can consider trying.....

ZFG was an ALIAS....

See it was this 'unknown stranger turned kidnapper' who made up the name ZFG and poor old Casey was just telling us what some lying sack of crap told HER! See..... Casey is innocent... just a victim of those bad people who lied to HER and then stole her precious baby & dumped a dead corpse in her car!

And if THAT'S not bad enough... the real ZFG is suing poor Casey & well, as we know... Casey is the one who was duped by the 'unknown stranger' who stole ZF's identity.

I know I'D BUY this brilliant theory. It's winner..... go for it!
Actually, I've often wondered if ZFG was an alias ...used by Casey.

Well, when called for Jury Duty are they not asking you to judge the evidence? Which ultimately leads to judging whether or not the defendant comitted a crime? Isn't that judging? Are you saying that when called for Jury Duty we should decline because the bible tells us "judge not"?

I'm honestly not trying to be a pain in your neck, just trying to understand where you are coming from. TIA.

I agree with you on this one. So many years of GA being "rewarded" for telling CA what she wants/needs to hear, seems like just a pattern to me, and a very difficult one to break. I'm sure he may think he's helping, or protecting her, but it's gone too far.

Frankly, I think George has been systematically marginalized and he has no real power to out-speak the growing contingent that is embracing the 'Casey Defense' tactics.

That leaves George two choices..... make himself invisible like Lee has OR stand by Cindy's side no matter what... just so he can be on hand WHEN she's ready to face reality. At her side, at least he can keep an eye on what the heck is going on.

The funniest part of that news story is... "Bart thinks the family will surprise you.
"They're down to earth... approachable... very honest," Bart said."

MMmmm-hmmm.

Yeah, riiiiiiight. Sorry, Bart, I'm not buying it.

I had not...until now. Well, if that's the case, and it may very well be, then there may be more hidden truths in her statements - in a backward sort of way, of course.
