Is there any conceivable way KC could have had someone else write it for her, i.e. another inmate or possibly staff member? I know she's in protective custody but who knows what goes on?

I shouldn't be quoting myself, but it struck me I meant to say The Vir-gina Monologues" (with apologies to playwright Eve Ensler). Sheesh! I can't even get my own punch lines right!

Nutballs coming out of the woodwork to confess or try to get brownie points for "inside info" are so very common - most of the time LE gets jillions of them but they never see the light of day because of few sunshine laws like FL has. I am frankly surprised there aren't more of these from guys who want the attention. I'll bet this dude is just loaded with other helpful rumors. LE is probably looking into him, but I can't imagine even the defense holding their breath for a guy with this little cred.

I think the problem with all the theories about anyone who is not a prisoner in the system is that the letter was sent from within the prison system. That rules out the family, JW, or anyone else but KC or another prisoner. I doubt it's KC, she's not dumb enough to risk something like this.

I am curious as to whether or not we have ever learned what the exact procedure for mailing a letter (by an inmate within the prison system) entails?

(I also find it interesting that this letter was not "signed")

Didn't we have a poster here who was answering questions about this particular jail?

I agree, but for different reasons. I think she is dumb enough to risk something like this - too many examples to mention, like her little snit-fit protests on a motion, the whole Imaginanny story, the tattoo, stealing from a bff who is only temporarily absent - all of the arrogant, over-the-top confidence she has when she Boldly Lies Where No One Has Lied Before behavior indicate to me she would risk all kinds of silly things.

I just don't think she's smart enough to imitate someone this functionally illiterate convincingly. But if this person is ever identified, I'd love to see his or her visitor log. Because this had to be cooked up by someone who wants to see RK screwed - and that is a rather recent defense strategy, imo.

I would think that this letter has been fully looked into and they know exactly who sent the letter and why or they would not have filed it. Just guessing at this theory. Plus now AL is stating "no evidence of a homocide" which leads me to believe they have exhausted all the other theories and may have to go with it was an accident and KC is innocent.

Ugh,yes. Why would they bother to dispute the duct tape occluded the mouth and nose if Casey wasn't responsible,anyway? Seems like they are throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.So far,none of it.IMO

Well you see it was like this. Caylee fell in the pool while KC was texting Toni, she got distracted as she really wanted to watch two movies that night about kidnappings. He wanted to see her right away and since she could not reach anyone by phone she put Caylee in the trunk and forgot about her. Couple of days later she went home GA went out to detail the car and found the bag, KC told GA it was full of dead squirrels she ran over and GA took it down to where they put their old toilet when they last changed it out and dumped it. It's been just a big misunderstanding. So do you see why JB is so confident?? Should I write to the judge?

Since inmates can't exactly run out to the mailbox and sending mail addressed to a Judge would probably raise a few eyebrows, I would assume that the author of the letter is not a secret to the court. JMHO
I don't think this has anything to do with the defense, i just think this person is a nutter butter.

So let me get this straight.

Casey "rand" off with $25,000, a 1/2 kilo of cocaine and her intact virgina.

Then, OTowns Finest goes to Casey's house and sees her getting "hi" through the window and notices Caylee playing by the "sports coup" tire. Then, he leaves.

Wouldn't it have been a lot simpler for OTown's Finest to just bust the door down right then and there and take back the coke and cash? Not much of a bad *, is he? It must have brought a tear to his eye watching Casey through the window like that getting "hi" on his stash and not being able to do anything about it.

omg 2goldfish, I have to agree with you there! Man, if they find this person..can you imagine what the interrogation would sound like? Who knows, with Florida's Sunshine Law...we might get to hear it! I can't even imagine what questioning this 'letter writer' would sound like? BBM - great point, and didn't RK's girlfriend work at the jail or maybe she still works there? It was suggested early on that she was the one who had info regarding the remains site and that is how he happened to check the location out in the first place.
