James Goen of Jack’s Truck Repair in Tucumcari told the Journal he’d worked car crashes with Hare for years and described him as a “top notch” police officer and a good friend, adding he often worked with children in local schools.
“Justin was a great person,” Goen said. “Didn't matter if he worked … all night long — if you called him, he answered his phone.”

RIP, Officer Hare.

Where is this monster who murdered an officer trying to help change his tire? We probably won’t get lucky enough to find him dead of a self inflicted gun shot. What a waste.

I had trouble with the link loading, but apparently this -- Alleged Perp -- who murdered TWO first responders was arrested in Albuquerque:

There is a thread for Ms. Machado-Fore’s murder, possibly better links there?

Glad he was caught. He will never get out after these heinous crimes.

A man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for shooting and killing a New Mexico state police officer who stopped to help him fix a flat tire.
