You're absolutely right about that. I wonder how that would work. Because it's on federal land (if, for argument's sake, it's her), could they do this in federal court?
Utah has the death penalty, and they use it (even though it takes forever, like everywhere but Texas).
They "could" if they choose. A Fed. Judge (for that jurisdiction) could make that decision IF this is Susan. Way off in the future, but it may happen.
I gave the example for the A.P Murrah Bldg. (OK) bombing of a FEDERAL building and that stayed in Fed. Court for trial and sentencing. It's the most recent case that most would remember. RIP my Ok friends. The FEDS also have the death penalty. IF this is Susan, I would like to see the trial moved out of Utah and to any other of our 49 states for trial.
