Okay, yes, pearls in Tennessee because they are freshwater pearls harvested from mussels in various rivers or grown on farms. They are quite valuable and beautiful and much more rare than they used to be.

This is a natural product of Tennessee and the official state gem (wow, didn't even know that!)

That's what I was thinking pieper! How could they have that much stolen merchandise and not be arrested the day they were stopped in the van?!

Crazy, isn't it?

What I have not found an answer to is whether this was Amber's house or Trish's house. Trish lived on the 200 block of Court and the pearls were at Court, and Zach was at Court St. when he turned over the pearls and when he was arrested for assault. So perhaps this would mean this was Trish's house...dunno.

Sounds like the two sisters lived together. One big happy family.

We had a very healthy energetic raccoon come in our yard last year and was eating our cat's food. He stayed awhile and then went back in the wooded area of our property.

He was a big one too. Probably from eating our cat's food for some time.:floorlaugh:

LOL, at least he didn't come in through the dog door to eat the dog's food like a couple of possums did in my house. Unfortunately, two very large boxers were sleeping on the couch and disposed of the possums in my living room.

I'm really struggling with this one, help me out here-

So everybody that was involved with these stolen pearls was arrested and charged except for ZA, who handed some over to police himself, yet he is facing drug and assault charges? What's missing here? Any mention of charges pending in this county?
Hypothetical- If I was at another person's house and the police came and asked about drugs, if I handed them drugs myself, I should expect to not be charged with possession?
Do I get a pat on the back instead the back of a patty wagon?

Litig8ter, love this thinking. This idea is one I have read and considered and re-considered as the only hope that Holly could be alive somewhere. Human trafficking.

You know your post really made me start thinking about this idiot. He appears to be a real talented Procurement Specialist. Maybe he did take Holly to trade. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

You can never second guess or think like this psycopath. Regular minds just don't go there. Who could have ever believed some of the stuff we have read in the last couple of days?

This is not correct. The state gems of Tennessee are my son and my two grandchildren. JMO :)

The JVM HLN show was fairly informative and civil tonight, imo. The video link will likely be available tomorrow for those who missed it.

Can anyone remember when there was an abduction where 4 or 5 people may have been involved or had personal knowlege of the abduction? I can't..

While, yes, that's an awful lot of, um, fresh-water pearls, this whole debacle does not cause me to see this criminal lot as being a keen and omnipresent, controlling entity, one fraught with danger, but, rather, as a pack of meth heads whose fortunes turn on the slimmest of margins and include elements of which they've lost control.

The group in Haleigh Cummings case. No one has been arrested for her disappearance and 5 people were put in jail on an undercover pill bust. Ron her father, Misty who was Ron's gf then wife, Misty's brother Tommy who has told some tales, Hope, Ron's cousin & out of nowhere, just another person who got hooked into the drug business and who use to be a volunteer searcher in Caylee Anthony's case. Four with 15 years & Misty Croslin/Cummings with 25 years.

Ayla Reynolds? I'm not sure how many were involved. And that's not so much an abduction as concealment of the murder of a child. She wasn't snatched off the street.

TY, Dr. Know..

For some reason this case seems like an anomaly to me due to the meth connection and the number of people which may be involved, imo.. If ZA was responsible, the abduction would have been preplanned and there would have been a minimum of 3 crime scenes involved, imo.

No offense to any locals or semi-locals, but this case is sounding more and more like a case of abject local LE corruption. Letting the A-Train run roughshod throughout the counties... Maybe I'm dead wrong.

That's what many felt in Haleigh's case.

There is another case I'm following that I suspect some similar connections, also druggies in a smaller size town. One by one they get arrested around the same time. There's 4 or more in that one. I'd say who it is but there are about 3 good theories and I follow each one with an open mind, besides it's O/T.

As far as Haleigh's case, the lead detective at the time now is off the force. Many knew about his troubles and his own personal crimes from the start. Small towns with a good ole boy system in place get investigated eventually. jmo

Kevin Quick from VA last month . I can think of 3 more but would have to look arround for links . Anyone remember the guy found in the back of a truck trailer who was killed by a family?

Could be. Is there a reason that up until now LE might have turned a blind-eye towards ZA and all of his charges?
