"Eyewitness News has learned detectives have been searching for the body of Caylee Anthony in two more places in east Orange County. Caylee was reported missing 78 days ago. Detectives say she is dead and that at one point her body was in the trunk of her mom's car."

and

""It does her no good to show her cards to give the prosecution any advantage they have to put her away for life," Jose Baez said.

Judging by what he said, it would seem that Casey would get herself into trouble by telling what she knows about Caylee's whereabouts."

Interesting...

I heard that and was shocked!
What the heck is LE going to do now?
That is a sorta GUILTY but not saying GUILTY statement?
He really should get off the SAVE CASEY from paying for her crime stool & start find Caylee mode.
This makes her an even worse MOTHER & person than I thought she was un and until this...

Poor Caylee....

If she called corporate on the 28th and they told her to wait one more day before towing that implies the car was there on the 26th as they had a three day requirement to fulfill before towing. If it were abandoned on the 27th, they would have told her to wait two more days. So yes, in a way, this clears it up.

If you believe her text msg to Amy though, she ran out of gas on a Friday which would be the 27th and goes along with Amscot employee statement of the 27th too.

I think I'm more confused now.

Corporate office told her to wait one more on the 28th because she advised them that it had already been there one day. She waited the entirety of the third day, the 29th, and then finally called to have it towed on the 30th.

Well, when else would she have ditched it but the 26th? According to TonE's testimony he picked her up from the parking lot in the morning around 11 am. which tend to rule out her ditching it just prior to it being found. Unless you think he is lying or mistaken?

No, no....all I'm saying is I think LP assumed the body was ditched on the 26th. I don't think the body was in the trunk even on the 24th when she stopped by the house. (When GA asked for the items in the trunk). I suspect the body was gotten rid of the 21st or 22nd.

Maybe he deliberately made the slip to make you think there is an accomplice when really there is none. It would make his client look better and that is his job.

I really hope there is an accomplice, much more likley the truth will come out when more people are involved.

Good point, which further makes me wonder how did she get there before she called Tony? This has always bewildered me.

I really think it was the 27th that Tony picked her up. That coincides with her "two Fridays in a row" statement.

Yes, on the 21st.....gap between 12:40 and 16:30

Is there a way to track where the 12:40 call was made (by pings on the tower) to the location of the 16:30 call? Wouldn't that give us an "in-between" location of her quiet time?

Are there any pictures of the car? Does it have bumper stickers? What kind of marking do you think the woman meant? All the pictures of the car I have seen have the trunk open and I don't remember seeing bumper stickers, but wasn't looking for them either.

He thinks she ditched the body on the 26th because he thinks she put the body in the Amscot dumpster when she ditched the car. I think he is completely off.

I don't think it's a mystery. She either went grocery shopping or went and stole food from her parents, and when she headed back to TonE's she ran out of gas.

The only sticker I recall is the shamrock on her back glass.

I think we were just making sure we had the date right about when the car was noticed. Yes, she could have left the car there the night before, but I don't remember reading anywhere that someone admitted to picking her up the night of the 26th. When you said according to TonE's testimony he picked her up from the parking lot in the morning around 11 am - are you talking about the 27th?

Interesting...

I listened to JB and it is a little less incriminating when taken in context. He says it's not in his client's best interest to tell LE "what she knows" about where Caylee is...

That could be taken several ways and we've chosen to select the most sinister - implying that we all believe she knows exactly where Caylee is - and therefore an admission of guilt.

It could also be that he doesn't think it's in her best interest to keep insisting that she doesn't know where Caylee is, or repeating her ZG story, or for her to change her story at this time. Each of these would not be in the best interest of his client but would not necessarily imply any admission of guilt...only of lying.

I know I flip-flop back and forth on all the issues in this case but I'm only trying to be straight with the evidence and be sure that I don't rush to judgment. When I slow down, I can usually acknowledge that people aren't as stupid as I want them to be.

How do you reconcile him picking her up on the 27th at what he says was around 11 am, but the Amscot employee says the car was there at 7 am? Did she ditch the car at 6 am and take off with someone else until 11 when TonE picked her up? (not being snarky, just wondering what your theory is?)

No, the 26th. I just think it's possible that no one noticed the car being there from 11 am on the 26th. until the employee noticed it at 7 am on the 27th.

It's not in her best interest to tell what she knows....

She repeatedly told LE that she is absolutely telling all she knows....

JB has been on record saying that Casey knows where Caylee is and she's safe but he'll use that in his opening statement in court....

LE has discredited everything Casey has told....

I just found it interesting that JB made this statement with the look of defeat on his face. That's the way I took it.

Yeah, but the car had been there since 7:00 am and she didn't call TL until 11:00 am so who took her home or to the grocery store is my question?

It sounded odd to me too. That's why I wondered if she was with someone else early that morning or the night before. I'm puzzled at the 4 hour time gap from ditching the car and Tony picking her up.

It makes me believe she ditched the car on the 27th since she said it was 2 Friday's in a row that she ran out of gas.
