How very convenient!

That's what I've been saying. Does he just carry around gas cans in his vehicle for 'in case' emergencies?

He thought ahead of time enough to take gas with him to pick up the car. I'm only guessing that running out of gas was a standard issue with her.

Oh whoa.. Chris T is who the message is to. You're saying Chris S? Are there 2 Chris's?

I'm only getting this info from earlier posts in the case. It could have been a typo from one of us. Tutz is the name showing on the post that I'd copied from way back. Probably the same person.

Dunno, I didn't look it up myself, just saw that that info had been posted.

There's either 2 Chris's, or that MS quote is a typo? Or his MS name is Chris 🤬🤬🤬, not necessarily his real name?

SB: And then, and anyway, I went back to the car with him and the car wouldn't start.
And I looked, he was sitting in the car and I looked in the car and the gas guage
was on empty. I said, "Oh, it's out of gas." And he said, "Well I brought gas with me."

Tow Owner's Inverview Page 9 Lines 10-13

"He was SITTING in the car"...........and the gas guage was on empty.(the gas gauge was broken according to all other reports)

This was a set up by GA, I can just feel it, and I believe when court comes it will come out that GA JUST SAID it would not start and the man took him at his word.

I was just about to run through the timeline to try and pinpoint an approximate time she may have been spotted in this median and found something in my notes that struck me odd.

Wasn't it in Chris's interview that he thought he saw Casey jogging and texted her but she said it wasn't her? Does anyone know right offhand what day that was?

Here's a message she left to him on MS or FB:

Well, when else would she have ditched it but the 26th? According to TonE's testimony he picked her up from the parking lot in the morning around 11 am. which tend to rule out her ditching it just prior to it being found. Unless you think he is lying or mistaken?
I'm pretty sure that according to TonE's statement and phone records. it was the 27th.....i will go check when I have time, but I recall it being the 27th. I'm getting REAL confused with all these mis-quoted dates flying around.

Yep, you're right, but there was also chicken nuggets.

My first freezer pop comment was supposed to sound sarcastic. I'm not good at snark. lol
LOL Maybe you are too good...as it went right over my head. :)

The guy that picked up the car to tow it stated he had a bad cold and couldn't smell anything. They did not open the vehicle because they did not have a key. GA was the first person to open up the car when he did arrive with the key while the Tow owner was standing there.

I know the tow truck driver didn't smell anything, I was referring to TURBOTHINK's comment that they did an inventory at the tow yard. My point was they couldn't have done an inventory as they didn't have the key. ;)

LE interview with tow yard manager: He went back to the car with him (GA) and it wouldn't start. "And I looked, he was sitting in the car and I looked in the car and the gas gauge was on empty. I said, 'Oh, it's out of gas.' And he said, 'Okay.' "

Yes, it was the 27th according to AL.

If we believe the neighbor, he said she backed into the garage which was odd and why he noticed it. Now..we don't know if this was on the 24th or not as he can't pin down the actual date she borrowed the shovel.

It is quite possible this is a family attempt at covering up Casey's actions because of what the neighbor said.

I'm confused again (sorry). I didn't get the impression that on the day she gave GA the gas cans (24th) that she pulled into the garage. I thought she borrowed the shovel around the 18th (could be wrong) and that's the day she pulled into the garage.

Ah, OK. Sorry. No, I don't think they opened it up for an inventory either. Probably just looked through the windows to see what was there, if anything.

That's not a bad thing. :)

See...here is the problem. The neighbor cannot remember the date and without being able to pinpoint the date...we cannot rectify it with GA's story (which I don't believe anyway).

I guess they just looked in the windows? Maybe? I saw an inventory sheet somewhere.

Then how did they do that inventory?

Where is that stated that they did inventory? I know that it was written on LE's tow docs that there was "no key".

Can you explain the inventory thing to me? This is the first that I am hearing about it. I suppose they could have looked in the windows but I am 100% positive that they had no key.
