Innocent?? This is about more then just that, she and her family are maintaining that Caylee is alive and out there, I think what blows everyone away is that if she is going to maintain her innocence would'nt she have ANY pretext of looking for her?? showing ANY concern for Caylee instead of herself!! :furious:I wasn't asking anyone to accept this. If Casey killed her child, she should hopefully be punished in accordance with whatever criminal laws apply.
But for now, she's maintaining her innocence, and she wouldn't be the first person to ever do so. And we should all be grateful to live in a Country where the Government has to prove its' case entirely.
It's still not hard to understand. Once Casey establishes that she's maintaining her innocence, she has to go all the way. She's not very well going to maintain her innocence while simultaneously acknowledging that Caylee's dead.
Whether or not Casey's story, as supported by her family wherever possible, is believable is an entirely different issue. But that Casey hasn't confessed to anything is not the kind of shocking bombshelling oh my god news that everyone's making it out to be. So she wants a trial. Big deal. She isn't the first.
