I recall that, also. As I listened, it was interesting that he would put himself there. I guess I am not sure what an AmScot is. Cindy also states that she drives past this AmScot daily on her way to work, and in her mind, it makes no sense that Casey would abandon the car where her mother would be likely to see it.
Maybe when she didn't see a tape recorder it didn't dawn on her that there was a camera in the corner of the ceiling, despite the fact that she was facing it.

Just curious does JG state this in an affidavit? I must have missed that as I didn't think we knew for a fact that this incident happened at all? My mom had seizures frequently they never involved CPR.
...still in Tampa on 24th? Whahappend to the "sorry 'bout the gas cans" a.k.a. "here's your eff'n gas cans" scene????
Oh, OK, this is bizarro-Cindy...Cindy's evil twin...dual universe and all.
A girl I met a long time ago told me this story, so I am a little fuzzy on details. She was hooked on either heroin or cocaine, don't remember which. Here's what she said:
She was out with her boyfriend and they did a lot of drugs. He then dropped her at her house. She went in, and her mother was there in the living room. She started to talk to her mom, but then she lost it and passed out. When she woke up, she was in the hospital, and according to her mother, she had fallen to the floor and started having a massive seizure, flailing all over the place, foaming at the mouth, and then she stopped breathing and her heart stopped. Her mother called 911 and performed CPR until they got there and took over. She was very lucky to still be alive. She was 16 at the time. She was admitted into a psychiatric hospital as soon as she was released from the medical hospital.
Here's what I wonder. With this girl, her parents had her admitted, as she was a juvenile. If this same thing happened with Casey, the hospital, by law, would not be allowed to release test results to Casey's parents, as she was an adult. However, if she had OD'd, would the hospital not be required to report this to the proper authorities, and have at least some kind of psychiatric observation? Or would they just release her when she was better?

question
in GA interview he mentions that he went to Amscot to pay his utility bill, I believe around the time that he went to tow yard
Just found it strange and never heard that before Amsoct mentioned before besides that car being left there
anyone else ?
OK, I just finished the last FBI/CA interview tape on 7/30/08 (#6 from Fox). I think I've damaged some of my brain cells listening to CA and trying to make sense of her ramblings.
Kudos to all who have commented. In addition to what you fellow WSers have pointed out, my hinkymeter was in overdrive and smoking on a few other items. Examples:
At 15:19> on the tape . . . Re: June 30th, CA says she remembers June 30th because that's her parents anniversary. CA says she didn't know where KC was that Monday morning; that she (CA) was at work. But then, a little later, CA says she was on vacation all that week, from June 30th all that week through 4th of July weekend. Which is it, Cindy? Were you at work June 30th, or were you on vacation??
Another thing was about the supposed activities on June 24th that I didn't see anyone else mention -- and I should go and check my memory by reviewing the first two OCSO/CA interview tapes that were released, but I really can't take CA's voice any longer for today so please forgive me and correct me if I am wrong.
IIRC, on one of the first two tapes released of OCSO/CA, CA is recounting KC's tale of Zanny's car wreck, hospital stay, Zanny's mother and sister, etc., KC supposedly said KC had to return to Orlando to get Zanny's insurance papers (or some kind of paperwork). CA claimed in that early interview that it didn't make sense and CA asked KC why couldn't one of Zanny's family members get the info -- or have the info faxed to the hospital. CA said that KC told her that KC knew where the papers were in the apartment. And the date KC allegedly went from Tampa to Orlando to get Zanny's papers? June 24th!
Does anyone else remember this? I remember it because it set my own hinkymeter off that it seemed to be giving a reason for KC being in Orlando on June 24th. For gas cans story? For KC "borrowing" CA's Toyota 4Runner?
CA does not mention to the FBI this alleged trip from Tampa to Orlando for Zanny's papers?
What is really bothering me about that scene with the gas cans is that in these interviews GA clearly states that he saw the gas cans in a collapsible blue bin in the trunk, yet in this interview with LE on 8/4 http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedfile...nthoneyOne.WMA (about 24-25 minutes from the start) he emphasizes that he never saw inside the trunk at all. Obviously he is lying, but which interview is the lie, and why is he lying?
she is an adult. the hospital does not have to disclose anything to the parent of an adult.
And that has been my point about Cindy thinking she has the right to know. Casey is 22 years old. Cindy lost her right to Casey when she turned 18. And LE does not have to tell Cindy anything. It will probably be up to Baez, and now that he knows how the A's feel about him, Good Luck
ETA: They know these rooms have cameras in them and that these things could be made public.QUOTE]
**snipped**
That's right, and if the jailhouse calls are taped and made public why in the heck wouldn't these also.
Well, I can see a lack of a camera staring you in the face giving you a false sense of 'privacy' anywhere else, but in an FBI interrogation room? The video camera is a given. However after listening to Cindy back up everything Casey said and condemn everyone else, it really shouldn't surprise me that she could be so naive in this point. Truthfully, there aren't many places you do go nowadays where you aren't on tape. Such is the world we live in...
Think you're right - I think I remember him saying that, don't remember which tape lolOkay I can't possibly go back and listen to George again, my ears are bleeding. Did anyone else hear George say that on his way to the tow yard he stopped at the Amscott to pay his phone bills???? I will stand corrected if anyone else remembers different, it was a long night LOL
