Did anyone else notice, on the "all about Lisa" page:

"She had 4 teeth coming in before she was kidnapped and might have more teeth now."

Holy cow, a cold, an ear infection, and FOUR teeth coming in? There is NO way that baby was quiet from 6:30 pm until 10:30 with all that going on. She was totally miserable. If you've ever had a wisdom tooth come in, multiply that times four and you can relate to how BL's mouth felt.

Well, just an FYI, it took me a bit but I feel fairly confident in saying I think the site is linked in someway to the benefactor. There is a barrel racing connection. So the site is most likely legit. . .so that's good. I wish they would have been a little more transparent about that though.

I just looked at the registration again and most of the contact info has changed from when I looked the night this thread was started. The contact emails have changed as have the physical addresses. Hrmm. It's even less obvious not of the tie-in to the benefactor. Hrm.


I really don't understand why the parents would (if that is their intention of the link on their site) want tips on the case sent to their site if IDI, that would be handing the DT some reasonable doubt fodder. I could see the motivation to create reasonable doubt to save their own hides, I cannot see the sense in handing that over to an IDI's DT.

As stated above, if you look it asks that tips go to crimestoppers. The feedback portion is just that, feedback. It could be tips on the sight, well wishes for the family, etc.

Meh, the specific use of the word information in the statement "and any information you feel might be useful" kind of leads me to think information as in the case. Information about the site is an awkward reference in my mind. In fairness, that statement is a bit ambiguous, perhaps just enough ambiguity to allow those viewing their own take without being direct about what info they want. Deliberate use of specific wording or just happenstance? Who knows.

If we are looking for an abductor the lack of relevant information regarding the particulars of the abduction is a serious flaw in the site imo. It is counterproductive to the mission of the site. If the information available on this site is all somebody knows about Lisa Irwin being missing how are they supposed to realize that the information they might have is relevant to report anything they know when the site doesn't say anything about the location, the sightings, about the possible connection to Megan Wright's friends. Has the family abandoned the theory that the phonecalls are connected to Lisa's disappearance?

This site might help someone to recognize a living Lisa in their family but it does nothing to catch the perp and get justice for Lisa if Lisa is no longer alive.

Fair enough but I don't see why giving the info about where and when and how Lisa was last seen by her family, what else was taken with her, who she may have been seen with would not be about BL and how it would not help with the awareness goal.

If it was my baby I wouldn't be happy with people merely being aware that she is missing, I would want them to know as much as possible about the circumstances so that someone knows enough to realize s/he should call in the tip that solves the case, brings my daughter home if possible and gets her justice.

You may have a point if they didn't have a link to Crimestoppers. I sent them a note informing them of a possible grammar error. If I had a tip in regards to were Lisa is I would have used the Crimestoppers link. It's not too hard to see the differences between the two. JMO.

I believe that this website is NOT all about Lisa, but all about the defense of DB and JI. I think that the DT is getting ready for an upcoming trial and is putting their ducks in order. If it was all about Lisa, it would have gone up months ago. The fact that it has been started now, after 5 months, is a specific tactic that the DT is using to help prepare their clients for trial. It also could be that the benefactor is receiving some heat and asked that such a website be put up.

While I don't feel that this website is really harmful in any way, I see it for what it is and it makes me really sad that Lisa has been given so little regarding justice. Even the statement given by (supposedly) the parents on the site doesn't look like a personal plea, but just a canned statement that anyone could have made while asking for the return of a wallet or a set of keys. It stinks to high heaven to me. However, I don't think that it makes much difference in any way. DB and JI know where Lisa is and also know that there is likely no one who could give any tips to this site or anywhere else that could put them in the hot seat. They know because what happened to Lisa happened in the privacy of their home and whoever disposed of Lisa's little body did so under the darkness of night.

I suggest that we all watch this site and see just how much information about Lisa turns up on this site. Look at other missing children's websites and compare them on the information. This site is a DT tactic and nothing else.

Again, anything the parents do at this stage is going to be viewed as a defense tactic by some. It really is a no win situation. If you believe a crime has been committed by the parents, there is nothing they are going to do, even something seen as a positive in trying to get their daughter back, that's going to be viewed positive.

The wording of the sentence and the ambiguity of it as it stands leaves people to draw their own conclusions of what useful information should be submitted to their site. No one knows the site creator's motiviation of posting that particular statement. If the wording gets changed or clarified, and they direct all those who desire to submit tips to LE or Crimestoppers, I will concede my point rendered moot. YMMV.

I don't see anywhere on the site where the parents are trying to purpose a theory or explanation that shows a defense. I see a site that says, 'this is our daughter, Lisa'. She is missing. In fact, I can see the scenario where if they did put up details about what exactly happened that night, it would be viewed by some as a defense explanation, trying to explain and cover themselves.

We can debate the intentions behind the site, but as far as what the site contains, to me, I see a site about BL. Pictures about BL. How people want to interpret that is their own opinion.

Ok, I read your post and I can handle it. I'm looking at this website in a more positive light. Just maybe it will help in finding Lisa. And hopefully if she's found, that will lead to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible. JMO.

I would have also viewed this website in a positive light if it had gone up within the first weeks after Lisa went missing...but not now. Too little, too late.

Right, but you are coming from a guilty viewpoint. That means even if they submit themselves to seperate LE interviews, it will be viewed negative by you.

You have proved my point. You will only be satisfied if they will confess. Therefore, there is nothing in you mind that would make you believe they are not guilty, no matter what they do. That is the very definition of bias.
