Search for missing 5-year-old in Dunedin

Search and rescue teams are looking for a missing 5-year-old in seaside Dunedin.

A police spokeswoman said police and LandSAR were searching for the missing child in the suburb of Ocean Grove, near Tomahawk Beach, on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to a Luke St property at 4pm.

Not many details yet. I pray that the child will be found safe and well.

(It feels a bit odd reading about police being called at 4:00 pm on Thursday Dec 27th. It's midnight here on the other side of the world, and Thursday the 27th has barely begun.)
