Search for Denver Chance: Missing man seen in Manukau shops on day he disappeared

Sightings in Manukau and Kingseat between 4 and 5pm. They have him on CCTV and also phone data.

Torpedo 7 that he was seen in sells camping gear etc.

Yes this is intriguing. There are torpedo 7 stores much closer to mairangi bay that he could have gone to which makes me think this wasn’t the sole point of his journey.

Maybe he was in the area for another reason, like to meet someone and he went in there because he needed to buy something.

Would love to know if he purchased anything and if so what.

The suicide scenario seems more possible to me now. The area he was heading towards has plenty of remote areas and beaches which would be likely destinations if that were his plan. His purchase from torpedo 7 could have been something related to that. I know he was said to be a happy guy but there are countless people who kill them selves who’ve been good at hiding how they’re feeling, depression, etc.

Terribly sad but not unexpected imo. The family and media had gone very quiet over the weekend so it was clear there had been developments.
