For sure, all eyes started fluttering and heads did a military snap to look to at the FBI guy. He is head honcho in charge.Did you see the daggers coming out of the eyes of JY and the FBI agent when he said that ? :floorlaugh:
Hernandez, a Kennett High freshman, was reported missing at 7:17 p.m. Wednesday. She was last seen around 2:30 p.m. leaving school, but when her family arrived home that evening she wasn't there.
This is kind of random but I wanted to make sure I had the quote in case we ever get enough info for a timeline.

IMO, this looks more and more like an abduction by someone she knew and trusted.
I think she was shooting daggers the whole time.Did you see the daggers coming out of the eyes of JY and the FBI agent when he said that ? :floorlaugh:
“(On Monday), we’re going to bring in an additional resource of five air-scent dog teams that I’ve used in the past that I’ve had great success with.
ESPECIALLY given they seem to be so dedicated to keeping people quiet, and making sure no one does come forward. That's what intrigues me the most about this case- during press conferences they'll say things like, "We need the public's help" or "We're so glad her friends are finally coming forward" but the rest of the time, they do anything and everything they can to keep the lid on each and every piece of information that could potentially leak.
It's all the contradictions that has me up in arms.
Maybe he meant that the friends were finally coming forward to law enforcement.
They don't want them talking to the media, they want them coming to THEM.
Maybe friends just barely started contacting law enforcement?

Definitely could be the case. I am just surprised by the mixed messages, and the lack of information in this case. It's frustrating. Every night, LE has a presser, but shares absolutely nothing. You've been around a long time, MsFacetious... you know how much more information we usually have by now where these kinds of cases are concerned! I hope LE has a plan, and a very good reason for playing things so close to the vest.
That's the way I heard it, too. But there was a bit of chiding in the comment which I don't understand. Everything seems so carefully crafted in the pressers; why admonish her friends?
But we don't normally have information at this point from NH cases. :twocents:
We may not have it from LE, but we get it elsewhere! In this case, though? NOTHIN'!
That's why I wonder if they don't have more information which requires silence. :twocents:
Personally? I think they've all but solved the case. I think they know WAY more than they're saying, and there's a reason they're insisting on so much silence. I HOPE, anyway.

So, I had to do a little googling to note the differences in air scent dogs compared to tracking dogs. Lots to know and understand by the info I skimmed. Air scenters might specialize in a certain area of search such as cadaver, water, avalanche, urban, wilderness, evidence/article. One article I read said there were only about 150 teams out across the country so these pups aren't your average bear. I sure hope they can lead to finding a safe Abby.
Air Scent Dogs; Nose to the air-they pick up scent carried in air currents, anywhere in an area & search out its origin, Do NOT need scent article or trail and time is not an issue.
Tracking Dogs; Nose to the ground, need scent article, they are not searching they are following

So if they are bringing in air scent dogs, does that mean they are looking for a cadaver and not a live person?
