Bus schedule for Concord Trailways which runs in NH http://www.concordcoachlines.com/images/stories/schedules/NH_May_2013pg1.pdf

Southbound from North Conway leaves at 2:35pm and Conway at 2:50pm

...and they were going door to door on Main St. in Conway today too, I recognized a building from a photo today. Interrrrresting !!! But there is no way she could have walked to the bus in Conway in that amount of time. No one ever mentions cars-rides etc..

Okay, to be clear, we still have no POI's or suspects in this case. BF's dad, BF and sister are off-limits unless they are mentioned in MSM or by LE. This includes all FB pages.

If that was in regard to my last post, the only point I was trying to make was that I wondered if the person she supposedly met on Facebook had anything to do with why she had walked instead of taking the bus... Although I didn't mention that (I guess I should have).

Just to clarify.

I found this odd also. That is a long walk for every day. Someone mentioned maybe she was doing running practice. Not in fashion boots, I don't think, unless she had running shoes with her, and even then, she'd be carrying stuff (her boots at least, unless she left them at school). But back to the long walk... I get the feeling (just a feeling) that she didn't normally walk. Why would she? Wouldn't she rather be on the bus with her boyfriend and other friends? Of course, I think; normally anyway. I think somewhere it was mentioned that she walked more than once (on consecutive days I think). That makes me wonder if something had occurred recently that caused her to alter her routine. Of course we don't know all the facts. Just ruminating though.

BBM.

I don't know how many buses service this school (I went to a large school so we had a ton), but it is possible she didn't ride the same bus as her boyfriend. Something that I thought of when reading your post is that when I was in middle school and high school A LOT of bullying went on on school buses. I recall many incidents on my bus, up until I stopped riding it in 10th grade. The kind of incidents I recall are kids throwing another kid's belongings out a window, a few physical altercations, passive-aggressive bullying between girls ("Does your mom still pick out your clothes?"... "Look how flat her chest is!"), etc.

The school tried to discipline bullying on the bus, but it persisted. I am just wondering if there would be any reason regarding bullying or tension with classmates that would motivate Abigail to walk rather than riding the bus.

Also, I do think her walk home seems long. However, for the kids who are near the end of the bus route, it can take just as long to be dropped off at home by the bus.

All just my experience... just throwing some thoughts out there!

My reminder of the site rules isn't in response to any one post. There have been multiple posts throughout the day focusing on BF's dad and some about sister's behavior at the presser. These are not allowed.

There have also been multiple posts throughout the last few days in regards to finding BF'd dad on social media, what he does and how he appears. He is not a suspect and that is not allowed.

Let's continue our focus on Abby.

Prayers for Abby! Saw this on the national news this morning. Very strange. Can't make heads or tails of this one. If I were forced to guess I would just say it was a stranger abduction but I haven't studied every single detail or article. I imagine they haven't released who the call was to yet, right?

Yes I agree with you, northern routes are even earlier or much later into the evening. Was posting for reference, hadn't even thought of the buses going up there, oh the things you forget when you move into the "big" city of Manchester.

Somewhat related, I found a scanner feed for the area, should we open a scanner thread?

Well.... we were just told tonight at the latest pressor that there was no last call at 6:30. nada... zip.... none...

LE says the call never occurred. In the press conference tonight, it was stated that the information about the call was not true and that they don't know how it was even reported. Read up-thread for more details.

Absolutely! Downstairs for the scanner thread! Indubitably.

No call?! That's not good. I don't know, I guess I felt if she made the call that it was a good sign although she has been gone way too long. But that just takes all my hope away. I have a bad feeling. Thanks for updating me! I have been lurking off and on all day. Prayers for her and her family!

Thank you. I have noticed in missing persons cases relatives and friends seem to be suspect because of their demeanor. Each one of us is different and until we walk in their shoes we don't know how we would react. Probably different for each one of us.

phew. just got caught up here with today's posts.

so, no phone call. that's a let down.

as someone mentioned earlier, it does seem like line searches aren't meant for finding a living person.

yet at the same time we have mom, sister, and family friend pleaing to abby to come home.

very confusing. it does seem like they really don't know what happened to abby. all the poker faces tell me that.

i hope this dear girl is out there alive somewhere and will come home soon.

based on the small tidbits of info we have been given at the pressers, i feel very strongly that LE and the FBI believe this was an abduction. if they had indications that she was a runaway, why all the local ground searchers with the dogs?

maybe (and this is wishful thinking) they have someone under surveillance or have their eyes on someone but need more tips to see if one comes in that verifies their suspicions enough to get an arrest warrant (again, wishful thinking on my part).

the other case I am reminded of, which happened recently in Massachussets (i forget the teens name, i think it was Katherine, may she rest in peace), the teen left school, got on a train i believe and went to an area she used to live where she committed suicide in a wooded area after dealing with depression and eating disorder. i'm not saying this is the case here, but there is a slim slim slim possibility that maybe Abby saw that on the news or something and was going through a hard time and did something similar? Again, i am not trying to victim bash, just another possible yet very unlikely scenario. Suicide clusters are common among teens which is very sad an unfortunate, which is why i brought it up even though i don't believe this was the case.

There was a call from her phone that night.
There was not a call from her phone that night.
Is it possible LE retracted that on purpose and it's not true?
I can't tell. Every LE is different and there is no rhyme or reason
or rhythm to what they do, right? I'm wondering if there really
was a call but they wanted the information back so they said
there was not one. Some on other threads , in the know, have
said LE is not allowed to give false information to the public. Either the info
is true or they will not give it at all. So...... I'm at a loss .

I have been following this case from the beginning~ NH crimes are so difficult to follow because they release nothing~

A few thoughts;
1. I think they have an idea of what happened to her and even who did it. My reason for this thought is; it's been 7 days and they are still searching the woods and trails. If she is lost in the woods there is 95% chance that she would not have survived the nights~ The perp may have her hidden at a campsite/cabin but I get the feeling that they feel she never left the area. She is either hidden in the woods/a house or no longer with us.

2. The way they are keeping the family/friends/area people from talking to the press~ I have never seen a case like this~ I think that they want nothing released to the perp that would hinder her release (if she's alive). I believe that there was a phone call on the night she went missing but for some reason it's important to LE to make someone think there wasn't one.

3. They have no plans to scale back in the near future so something is giving them hope~ The way the family is talking to her is almost like giving HER hope that they will rescue her soon and to hold on~

I hope they know what they are doing~ There are missing people out there that would love to have the help that this case has~ They arrived really quick for a "missing" person~

I just keep focusing in on what JY said and she said there was no call at 6:30pm. She didn't say there wasn't any calls, and when she was pressed about the call being from Cranmore resort she instead reiterated that there was no phone call at 6:30pm. She isn't saying a call wasn't made from the Cranmore resort area, but she is saying that if there was a call it wasn't around 6:30pm. I just noticed that JY chose her words very carefully on that issue. There may not have been a phone call, they might have pinged her phone. Or she may not have made a call, it might have been a text message. Hard to say what's really true at this point. I think it's interesting they are still so focused on the immediate area. I do hope people were listening when the previous F&G person told people to check their outbuildings. By the by, have they ever talked about where to get flyers from? I'm only a few towns away and we don't have any flyers up here and I'm wondering how to get some.

something is just...not...right...with the investigation i mean. obviously it's not right that a child is missing...

http://www.wmtw.com/news/maine/inve...girl/-/8792012/22452458/-/vbjxjf/-/index.html

Investigators have been looking for a missing North Conway teenager for seven days with no concrete leads in the case released.

Abigail Hernandez, 15, was last seen leaving her high school last week. Investigators are now going business-to-business in Conway Village looking for information.

Tuesday evening, Associate Attorney General Jane Young said there was nothing new to report in the case. She said earlier reports that a call was made from Abigail's cellphone the evening she disappeared were not true.
