My thoughts exactly! I wonder if what they are hiding is the fact that someone doesn't know how to do their job IIRC there are now 3 missing females in that area? Maura, Abigail and Celina?

Celina was found and put to rest though her case is still unsolved. (Grab another cup!)

In all honesty, even if there were no obvious signs of misdeeds, they should always cordon the house if there's evidence that the missing person got home... how many cases have there been where the home has been overlooked too long?

I couldn't agree with this post more...

I am a real proponent of investigating/searching homes of the missing ... Top to bottom... Inside out... In most every case...

Not necessarily to incriminate the other dwellers... But to get important evidence/clues/etc... Which may help to lead LE in a most efficient/focused search... And to avoid the daily wear and use that can contaminate the evidence...

additionally... There should (IMO) be searches conducted simultaneously in other logical areas, as well...

therefore... I was encouraged that the house was cordoned off so rapidly...

However... Since this is not always the case... I wonder what is the reason for doing it in Abigail's case...? :waitasec:

so the facts that we have so far, after 7 days are that AH was walking home from school, she was last seen at 2:30pm. They believe she made it home, but maybe she didn't. There may or may not have been some activity on her phone at cranmore mtn resort around 6:30pm. She has a BF and she also had an online older male friend. Her mother reported her missing at 7:17pm. So sometime between 2:30pm and 7pm she went missing. They haven't really widened the search beyond the immediate area of where she was last seen which leads me to believe they really don't know any more than we all do. It's so frustrating to have so much unknown, but I'm guessing we'll find out more after they've decided there's no further reason to hold information back. I don't believe they think she's still in the area, i believe they just keep trying to find her track somewhere and aren't able to find anything. Running down a fluttering dunkin donuts receipt isn't thorough searching, that screams desperation to me. Again, perhaps if they'd release information and enlist the eyes and ears of the massive amount of people out there they'd get better results. 7 days later it's unlikely anyone is going to remember a detail that may have been important.

Has it yet been reported the age bracket of the "older male" AH had befriended on line (FB)?

He's been making a lot of comments over the last few days. Through different venues. Also, from what's being posted I think her father just isn't around.

Celina was found. But the case has never been solved.

No age range has been mentioned for the 'older' male.

I just hope this won't be another one of those cases where nothing is ever found out. I know it is hard for families to hear what happened to their loved ones but the not knowing must be so awful. The perp whoever they/it/he/she may be must pay! Seems like it is going nowhere fast and that drives us all crazy. Some of the shows on Disappeared really stick with me and bother me and I don't want Abby to be another one. She is such a sweet soul and I am tired of seeing young victims. Please come home, Abby.

Where is Abigail? My heart aches for another young girl to go missing. This is becoming a much too often occurrence. This is MOO, I think someone had been watching her and knew her routine. Whether they grabbed her in a car or waited at her house, I feel the outcome is not going to be good.

I agree; it is happening too much. I know statistically the odds are that if someone will hurt you it will be someone you know but just this year, we had 3 attempted luring/kidnapping of children at different schools with different men, all strangers to the kids, in a matter of weeks. I can't remember that happening in our area say 10 years ago. It does seem crime is up. Everyday someone is robbing the local Walmart. Scary world we live in.

Thanks for the excellent map. I really need the "bigger picture" and yours was very inclusive. One thing I noted however is that there is a second RSO at 734 Kearsarge street-or am I mistaken.

No...but you can say "BF's dad is posting updates" and he is not hard to find on FB...he has posted on AH's FB.
