Im a regular lurker here but dont post much.I very much appreciate everyones observations.I have spent many many evenings digging deeply into all parties involved in Abbys life..I am hesitant to discuss my observations due to the posting rules.There are a few things I ponder:Why has the father not been "seen"?Is RH'S FB REALLY his or is there a chance the FBI is tending it?He has very recently opened this FB page,how could anyone expect Abby to just find it?Something tells me his letters arent just for Abby....
From the beginning Ive wondered if ZH found or has recieved a ransom note&the letters have included some hidden negotiation.I only present this line of thinking because of my research&some unusual things that make me question "the real story"...radical stuff.

I have questions too on why no updates for LE? Don't they report anything in New Hampshire. I am going to tell you a story about a gal from Maine that was found murdered this past year. She was 15 on facebook talking to a boy she thought she knew and planned to meet him that night in her driveway. Her mom let her go to the end of her driveway never to return. The entire story is twisted, she was talking to someone she knew but not the person she thought. He ducktaped her and was going to hide her and then play the hero and find her so he said but she ended up dead. Not sure when the trial is going to be but they got him. My point is though they allowed people to search, they used as much help from the public as they could get, and they updated about everyday on TV as to what was happening without revealing too much. This is what I do not understand about this case, this is a small town where people know each other and somebody has to know something and if they do they are wrong withholding it. This little girl has been gone way too long and it doesn't matter if she ran away she needs to be home. On the Missing page on FB there was someone who posted that they specialize in finding missing children and wanted to help but I don't believe that her family has sought help which I don't get. If you have an organization wanting to help then why not? So seriously what is going on here? They can keep posting the flyers sure that might help but so far it hasn't done anything but get the word out about her. It is like she has vanished. I was online early this morning and came across a psychic page where someone claims on there after doing her reading she is with an older kid, who has been in trouble and not a good person but they feel she is alive. They feel she is there on her own free will but it is not a good situation. Who knows maybe that person is right? Just frustrating with no updates or news as to what they are doing about her missing.

The only thing that I saw was that they questioned it and the admin person said that they would pass the information on and nothing more has been said about anything. It is just totally weird to me the FBI and LE may not want their help but it doesn't seem they are getting very far with this case so why not get some help with someone that does specialize in this and has a record that shows how many kids they have found and returned home. Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Everyone is so quiet on that board and then you get some people on their that are totally out of it and those are the one's that I would be watching. I also think there is a friend on Abby's friend list that I would be checking into as well. He seems kind of obsessed and liked everything she posted and seems a bit strange and has also commented on the help find Abby board. This is not unusual either, in my previous post I mentioned the story about the girl in Maine and her killer posted her poster and commented on the page as well. I just think this case is dragging on way too long and if they have information then what are they sitting on? Seems in today's world with all the technology they must have something by now. I just hope she is found soon and that they would give the public some updates.

how do we know who her besties are? Or that she has them? Was she a loner type? Did she feel outside? I am not being snarky. I am seriously asking because I don't know the answers. I began following a short while after she went missing so there is still some catching up for me to do on details from the initial days of the investigation.

When AH went missing we all went to find her twitter and fb and did find them. Through those is where we found posts she made with other friends, some who called her "sister" or "bestie" or "bff" and said things like "I love you" etc. It's also where things are quoted about JCjr, one post in particular where she put a pic of the two of them and said "I love this kid" (that's where some of us began to question whether the relationship really was anything more than a friendship). But even all of this aside, if someone at my school who I only knew vaguely disappeared under mysterious circumstances I would either have the foresight and fear to shut down and privatize my public accounts or my parents sure would. If some child at your child's school was abducted wouldn't you make darn sure they weren't the next target as a parent? Of course you would. You'd also hear chatter around town as people help each other deal with the fear. Other than JCjr's dad, there was no chatter. And while I can understand children behaving as though nothing happened, I can't understand adults and parents of those same children behaving the same unless they all know more than they're saying and they know why she left and who she left with. From the get go I was surprised at the news conferences there weren't any questions about how to protect children or threat to others.
In my opinion I'm not even sure if RH's fb is really his. <modsnip> is as unprecedented as a letter from the child. The only thing that has been said repeatedly is that information is coming in but it's coming in late, that would appear imo to mean that indeed someone does know a heck of a lot and they need to get in there and give that info up. It's also moo that it's her closest friends that can help the most.

I will say, aside from the JY, the LE working this case are the best of the best. I don't think anyone else could do more. I think it's really going to take someone who cares enough about her to come forward and tell what they know.

The most interesting observation that I've made is that some would expect us to believe that those claiming to be AH's friends, (close or otherwise) are now terrified. Supposedly terrified to the point of waking up in the middle night, being scared to go out alone, etc. While I don't doubt that is true (for SOME), it begs the question, WHY ARE THEIR SM FOOTPRINTS STILL BEING LEFT ALL OVER??? I've said before, I live in a city where 2 teen boys were murdered by 2 other teens. The boys who were murdered were missing for almost 2 weeks before their bodies were found. While they were missing and even after the discovery, almost ALL of their friends and even those who weren't friends with them LOCKED DOWN their SM accounts! These kids were genuinely hurting and terrified for their friends. They did NOT just go about life. Well, except for the ones who KNEW what happened.

So this is clearly just my opinion take it as you will, I feel that the letter was sent by abby and yes she typed it knowing it was probably easier for her to write this letter because she knew before writing the letter she would probably be re- wording alot and knew typing would be easier for correction. I think she sent it to PO box because she wanted mom to get it for sure rather then someone elses bieng able to get to her mail easy. I also believe that she feared coming home afraid of everyone being mad at her and the fear of everyone hating her for what she has caused. I do also believe that she may be back but just not at home but in a safe house now sheltered by LE and may have been a request before coming home that she would be in no trouble and no announcement as soon as she got back home and to let the news and media slow down to a fizzle before announcing her return. Also probably requesting moving to a new location unknown before the announcement. LE could have made the agreement pror to her return and that is why ZH is saying that it was a runaway case now. Knowing this will give people time to accept the thought and media to lay off and when it is announced people will have had the time in between to be a little more accepting. Like I said i dont really know but its my opinion on it. I hope and pray that this is the case

Well that would be great if it were true that Abby is in a safe house? But wouldn't that be misleading the public if that is the case, why would her case be treated any different then anyone else's case? When someone is found they usually announce it and both the message boards on facebook are still asking people to share her picture? If this is the case it is very wrong of the LE to mislead the people and I just don't buy that. Hope your right though it would mean she was safe.

If she had been located, LE would say at least that much and maybe no more. They can't have random people doing searches on their for the reward or whatever, possibly being injured, trespassing or lost.

As much as we might want it to be true, I don't think floating the theory that she has been found and is safe, is productive toward her actually being found. As far as I know, this would not happen. She may be found, and we may never hear where she was or why, but we will hear she is safe. IMO

I know it was just posted as a wish, but things turn into rumor or "truth" very quickly online and the notion that she is safe and with her family or LE can cause only harm in finding her or maintaining support and interest from the public.

I saw a comment that someone posted on an article that said if she ran away, why did she go to school the whole day first? I thought that was so true and so telling! Unless she went to tie up some loose ends or her "ride" could only come for her after school, I wouldn't think she would have gone. They obviously have video in school, which is how we saw her outfit. If she was acting funny, I am sure the video would have caught that! If I were going to leave forever, I would be acting differently than I would if I was coming back tomorrow.

As for her friends, her seemingly best of best friend posts often about where is she, she feels guilty, she can't sleep... she appears to know nothing about her leaving! That is probably the scariest piece of evidence I have seen. Girls tell their best friends bye and can't barely stand it when they go away for the weekend. It would be hard not to act weird if you might not ever see her again.

As for the father and his Facebook- I have said before that it seems to me that he had been mostly absent since she was young. It could be him but his continued absence through this horrible event makes me keep thinking that the mom might have asked him if she can open one with his name and is playing both sides through social media. One her side is I will never stop looking and on his side it is basically I won't send you back to mean mommy if you don't want to go. I can imagine she has really desired for his love and attention (and maybe even stated this in her letter) and so he or her mom is trying to reassure her that her dad cares and will be there for her. My son is only 5, he never had his father's attention- so doesn't really know it to "miss" it- and he is constantly trying to find ways to make himself feel loved by his dad.

I also saw a comment on an article that was from someone in her community. She said the mom is out every night until 11:30 knocking on doors. She said I know this because she was at my door. My heart breaks for mama and I can imagine that she would try anything she can think of to reach Abby and bring her home safely. I hope Abby realizes that if she can get home, get home! No one will care in the long run about anything other than the fact that she is safe. I in no way think she is already in safe hands. The police don't care about reputation or media... they care about getting a job done. When that happens, they move on to the next job waiting. This little girl needs to be found and get back to the mom who has loved her and cared for her since the day she was born.

Also reading some of the comments in one of the news articles and someone stated that LE didn't seem to want public help in getting AH home (I think they were implying that this means they know she ran away). Anyhow, the next comment in response to that stated that the postmark wouldn't have meant anything because local post offices don't postmark letters, they're postmarked at the distribution center, so for example a letter from North Conway, NH is postmarked in Portland, Maine. On the UPS site it confirms that letters are postmarked when they enter the portal system. For instance, if you deposit a letter in a mailbox it is either postmarked at the local post office of the town the mailbox is in or at the distribution center. I followed up with a friend who I had sent a Christmas card to this year and my letter was not postmarked from my local post office, surprisingly it was postmarked almost 60 miles away at what is a distribution center. So it appears that the postmark might not tell anything more than a general area AH may have been in if we believe that she wrote that letter on that date and mailed it where she is staying. Given all of this it makes perfect sense that LE wouldn't disclose the postmark.

I just have this to say about this article, the frontline is poorly worded and isn't supported in the article. The article below goes on to talk about the RH's letter but LE still maintains that AH is in grave danger. So it's not that investigators are considering the runaway possibility, it's that RH is considering that possibility. There was nothing in the article to suggest that LE agrees with that possibility. I don't know, but maybe our resident journalist can weigh in on whether that tagline was responsible journalism.
