BBM So many of us are way too trusting. Abby probably did share things in hindsight, with an innocence because being honest ourselves, we don't visualize people around us could be predators out to do us harm.
Let me share a life experience that made me realize that very fact. My husband and I parked in a lot at a university to go watch the football game. We were excited and rushing to get our things collected from the car and head into the stadium. Without thinking I said, I don't need to take my purse in. I did take out my phone and billfold and put the purse with my keys under the front seat. When the game was over and we walked to the car, I saw glass on the ground. I said, "Oh, someone's car got broken into." Much to my dismay it was ours! A rock laid on my seat and my purse was gone! I realized inside my purse were my keys to the car and the house. Then I realized I had a prescription bottle in my purse with my address on it! Luckily no one broke into our house and 2 weeks later my purse was recovered in the bushes close to our car. Guess they realized there was no money, no billfold, and tossed it. I learned a hard lesson. BEWARE of your surroundings and who is listening when you talk!
