Well I have had an epiphany on this one. I have read every single article on missing Abby and I thought for sure they had no idea if she arrived home or not?

I feel like I have been walking through the threads...blindfolded. DUH to me.

So now I am thinking something had to be amiss for LE to act so quickly. What could it be?

Why too have they been searching Abbys route home if she made it home safely? That makes no sense.

Welcome to my world! LOL. I've been going crazy over this. The first full week Abby was missing, LE said they believed she'd made it home. Suddenly, week 2 rolls around, and they say the opposite- now they don't think she did make it home.

They also gave a description of the clothes she was last seen wearing which ended up being incorrect. They stated she'd made one last phone call at 6:30 PM the evening she vanished, and later said she didn't make a phone call that evening. They've said over and over again that the route Abby was seen walking the afternoon she disappeared is a normal route for her, and that she regularly walked home. Now it's being said she regularly rode the bus, and was supposed to have ridden it that day as well.

It all keeps changing. Just as soon as you get comfy with something LE has stated as fact, they'll just contradict themselves in a day or two. Best to just hang on for the ride.

Ok, that thought just scared the bejeezus out of me. How scary would that be? And you're right- if I came home to a message or something like that, I would immediately call LE. With a quickness! That's a way to explain how it's possible Abby didn't make it home, but Mom still hit the panic button as quickly as she did upon arriving home herself.

ETA: Might also explain why LE was so mortified when word of that 6:30 call got out in the press, and why they walked it back so fast. If there's a perp, and he knows he grabbed Abby at, say 3:15 PM or something, he's not going to be happy to learn she was able to use her phone somehow at 6:30.

Ugh. That makes my stomach sink. The Fish and Game guy did say, and was quoted as saying, that the last phone call she made was at 6:30pm. Then they backtracked on that and said there was never a phone call, but there was a ping from a data update just after 3pm. The same with saying she made it home for two weeks and then backtracking and saying she didn't make it home. You may be right in that whoever grabbed her didn't know she'd made a call. It would also explain why Mom so quickly called LE, if there was a msg.

I do remember her home was considered a 'crime scene' with the yellow tape all around it.

I didn't read that in the newspaper but a poster that must live close by or was driving by stated that.

I wonder if that would be normal for a call to LE of a missing teen?

There were pics of the home taped up.

Nurses can work varying shifts. I have friends that work 3am to 3pm, some work 4-4, some work baylor meaning 16hrs on Sat and Sun and get paid for 40hrs, some work 12hr shifts, some 16hrs, some 8 hrs. Some have office hours, 8-5 or 9-5. Some work regular shift work 7-3/ 3-11/ or 11-7. Some work 6am to 6pm. With Abigail's Mom living almost an hour from work, betting the latter is her work schedule, which would put her home right around 7 pm.

I wonder if a call could have been made from her phone at 6:30, like the Fish and Game said, but it wasn't Abby who made it. Maybe that person contacted Abby's mom, or left a message on her mom's phone from Abby's. Far fetched, but that may explain why they were so plain in saying the call was made from her phone at 6:30 and then they say she didn't make a call at 6:30. Maybe she didn't, but someone else did.

Well you are right. My daughter is in fact a nurse. So if what you say is true then something had to be very wrong when she returned to her home to call LE so quickly and have them call in the DA so quickly and all that yellow tape so quickly.

I just wonder...what?

That surely can't be 'normal procedure' for a call about a missing teen.

Oh poor Zenya and Sarah they have to be scared to death in their own home.

My guess is that Mom has been unable to contact Abigail all afternoon, maybe had spoken to some friends and knew that no one else had either, so she knew it had been four+ hours since she had been seen. I think LE would react to that, especially with Celina being on their minds, surely.

Surely if signs of a struggle or abduction were found...LE would not, two plus weeks later, even mention runaway as any kind of an option.

This is what has been reported, your choice whether you accept it or not.

Nancy Grace Transcript:

Quote:
BOARD: Well, she was last seen leaving her school. Her friends were on the school bus, they saw her walking out of her school about 2:30 in the afternoon. Her mom got home from her nursing job about 7 o`clock that night, she was not there, her mom started panicking, called the cops. She has not been seen from since. There`s been a massive search -- air, ground, water, in ponds, in rivers -- no sign of this beautiful 15-year-old girl.

I never realised until just now. I was reading it a lot earlier today and someone was trying to find out who the admin on the page was and the admin said to PM any details as they didnt want to disclose their real name on it.
The admin has just gave that away with their last two posts mentioning personal stuff. Wonder why the turnaround all of a sudden.
