so, another fact...mom called the police at 717.

Going back through all the pages of posts and all the changes in "facts" over the past two months, it really WOULD be helpful to have a list of the facts as we know them at this point in time. And not just a list of the facts today, but a list of the previously reported retracted facts. Is there a TOS on retracted facts? I'm wondering how we should treat them in regards to guesses and opinons, should we refer to them as rumors or retracted facts so things don't get confused? And what about facts that are still not in agreement? Like what AH was wearing, I still see two different descriptions of the top she was wearing that day (down from three).

so this is the video where MSM stated that the community was told by LE not to talk to anyone. Oddly enough, the journalist also says that LE searched AH's computer and cellphone and found nothing. But AH's cellphone is missing?

http://www.boston.com/metrodesk/201...participate/Q5Q9SmugKYNdJQHLYGU21N/story.html

Just an FYI - They said cell phone information, not cell phone. There's data that can be obtained without the actual phone as evidenced by one's own phone bill.

KK. When he said "cellphone" I got really confused. That clears it up. Thank you!

Just wanted to add that I think you're referring to the article where it states:
She said authorities are also searching social media and cellphone information for clues. - See more at: http://www.boston.com/metrodesk/201...YNdJQHLYGU21N/story.html#sthash.y5o04j41.dpuf

but I was referring to the video clip at the same url where Ken McLeod reporting in Conway said "police say they've gleaned nothing sinister from either her cellphone or computer and that her case doesn't qualify for an amber alert." Ken didn't say "cellphone information" or "cellphone activity" he said simply cellphone. It may have just been confusing wording on his part, but that's what is confusing me. You can hear it at 1min28sec. It's about halfway through.

It's true, people are generally less precise in their speech than in writing so I do always look at both. Even then, things can get messy (as we well know.) But when the AG and FBI asks the public in a press conference to look for an iPhone providing specific details about its color, model and case, I tend to place greater weight on official word then on some local newscaster. Either way, I hear your frustration...am feeling it too.

I would say it's within TOS to list them as long as we list the original source or link and the retracted one too. I would list the fact with the link and then after retracted, the link.

Like, phone used at 630 (link or source (specific station or presser date)), retracted or corrected info (link)

There sure isn't 'much out there' and here we are finishing up week 8 and they still remain silent!

Personally and IN My Very Own OPINION!
I think they have a very good idea as to what happened her.
And who may be responsible they need the proof and they need to find her before they can do anything.

I do think its someone close to her....
I don't think a stranger took her a stranger would have left her where she could be found they do not go to great efforts to hide them they just want to get as much distance between the victim and themselves as fast as possible.

IMO she is not a runaway unless there is something in her family life that is so bad they she chooses never to return.

Another fact (I think) didn't her mom say she was SUPPOSED to be on the bus?

  • #410
The mom called the cops at 717. So she can NOT have worked until 7pm. Not enough time to get home.

Sounds good. When it gets touchy is when there's conflicting facts, and maybe it's like this is every missing case. Or as I posted above, even conflicting reporting of the facts within the same news station. Maybe you're initial post was right, the only real hard facts supported by LE and MSM and have remained steadfast that we have in this case are:

AH went missing on October 9th
ZH is her mom
SH is her older sister
RH is her dad
ZH called the police at 7:17pm
AH's last text was to a friend (we don't know exactly when that text was sent since there are conflicting reports, but it was either 2:52 or 2:53pm on 10/9)
AH's cellphone pinged West of Cranmore Mtn. at 3:07pm on 10/9
On the walk home, friend DF saw her.
ZH works as a per diem nurse at Mountain Valley Community for two years, a facility in Ossippee. http://www.newhampshirelakesandmoun...-continues-for-missing-North-Conway-teen.html
Searches included - Pudding Pond, a quarry, Saco River, behind Walmart, power lines, Middle School lot, AH's "usual walk home"
Home residence is 86 Village Way and was initially taped off
AH is a freshman at Kennet HS
AH is 15 years old
AH has a white IPhone with a pink/grey otterbox covering
AH had a cleaning job on mondays

Conflicting reports:
She may have made it home, she may not. At first LE thought she did, now they believe she didn't.
There were several uncofirmed sightings on n/s road between 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
Fish and Game claimed there was phone activity at 6:30pm, LE claims there wasn't.
Shey may have been wearing a grey sweatshirt, a black sweater with yellow flecks, or a striped grey and black sweater.
She was wearing either black or brown boots.
The friend who saw her on the walk home either saw her take a right of eastman road or eagles way onto a dirt road or path (both have been said at one time or another, one could assume it's just a mistake in names given the closeness in pronunciation of eastman vs eagle).
Some kind of surveillance video helped LE make a timeline
A letter was written to AH and the claimant is RH. Mom feels it is RH, FBI won't confirm.
Mom claims RH doesn't live in state, MSM is reporting that RH does have a residence in state.
Early claims in MSM stated AH had a bf and an "older boy" she had recently met online, but we've not heard anything since initial reports on this.
AH is missing, abduction has not been ruled out parents letters seem to indicate a run away.
Some news agencies have reported that AH is a "raven haired track star" but ZH says AH is not involved in any running groups.
AH routinely walked home (LE) or AH routinely rode bus home and walked that day (ZH)
Some sites list AH as abducted, some as kidnapped, some as run away.Someone suggested it's just how they put the posters online, but it's open to individual interpretation.
AH may or may not have her phone and as I noted above a reporter earlier claimed LE "found nothing sinister on her phone". So make your own mind up on that one.

The rumors:
AH was seen with two people in Errol, NH (rumor via MHFAH fb)
AH was seen on Kancamagus Highway (rumor via MHFAH fb and MSM)
Mom arrived home at 7pm (rumor via Michael Board from WOAI on the NG show)
AH was seen entering a car (rumor via NG)
AH worked at Cranmore resort (can't remember how that rumor took hold)
JC claims his son, AH's bf, received the last text and the content was a heart (stated by JC in several news articles)
ZH's previous residences were rentals (not sure where the rumor started from)

The obvious mistakes:
NG reported AH was a cheerleader, and she isn't
Some people thought AH was related to Aaron Hernandez, and she isn't.

Things we all agree are true from various places and individual sleuthing:
RH has residences in both TX and NH
JC is JCjr's dad and has a towing company
SH was on the HS track team
ZH is in an organized running group
Paul Kirsch runs both the Bringabbyhome website and another fb site and, although it's my opinion, I'm sure we all agree he has changed the way future families will handle missing children by his tireless efforts. I hope missing cards, magnetized signs and hashtags on social media are utilized in other missing children's cases and it was sheer genius to come up with the ideas. Given the inability to do an Amber Alert, these ideas had the same effect.
ZH has lived at several residences

I know there are other things that have been sleuthed, but I can't recall them right now. Let me know if there's anything I left out or put in the wrong list.

I think all the ideas that Paul Kirsch has come up with and utilized in this case should definitely become the staple for getting the word out when any child goes missing. I think he just paved the way for the future of what families can do other than feel helpless when a child is missing..... Hats off to you Paul!!!!!

I couldn't agree more.. We need more people like him..

Totally agree. In the absence of the ability to do an amber alert, how else do you get the word out quickly? I don't believe I've ever seen anyone use the social media like this. I think it should definitely be protocol, right down to everyone using the same hashtag so it doesn't get watered down by everyone using their own hashtag. Heck, even with an amber alert it's a good method. People wonder why some missing children get attention and others don't? This is why, advocacy and family can't advocate for themselves at times like these.

AH's last text was to her BF JCjr in the form of a heart (we don't know exactly when that text was sent since there are conflicting reports, but it was either 2:52 or 2:53pm on 10/9)

AH had a cleaning job

I think the last text counts as rumor since it came from JC's dad. Also, do we have a non-FB source for the cleaning job?

  • #416
I also don't know that ZH has multiple residences. She has lived at multiple residences but rumor has it they were rentals.

You are right! Only JC has said it was to his son and heart, but I'm not finding any confirmation by LE. The timeline merely says AH sent her last text msg to a friend at 2:53pm. Wow. Just goes to show that when things may not be correct it can change the whole thing. Maybe there was another text beyond the text to JCjr.

AH's mother said she had a cleaning on job on Mondays (didn't know it was only one day a week on mondays!)

Zh is still a coowner of a home in NH. Not sure if she is listed on anything out of state.

  • #419
I have been saying all along that I thought the heart information came from JDC. I have never read that LE took a look at JCjr's cell phone.

  • #420
They would of needed a warrant to get that cell phone is my guess. I have never heard that any warrants were ever issued pertaining to this case. If they did I guess i missed it.
