From what they'e told us thus far, "She has not been found" is resounding in every article and broadcast. HOPE I AM WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Why is the conference in Concord and not Conway?

Concord is the capitol and where the State Police headquarters is, they are probably far better set up than N Conway to handle an large influx of journalists and TV trucks.

I'm just now reading the latest and jumping in here out of turn. I'm thinking that despite all, Abby is still a minor and whoever has her is an adult. A crime has still been committed. I also wonder why Abby's mom did not tell LE. Was she threatened not to tell or she wouldn't hear from Abby again? Is this even Abby on the phone? Maybe it's some sicko, that has nothing to do with Abby's disappearance, playing games.

And it's not clear that mom didn't tell LE, it sounds more like there was some form of "contact" not vocal (mom would have recognized her daughter's voice) and that mom told LE and LE had to investigate it further to make sure it was AH.

One thing JC is right about.. once this got out they should have held a presser immediately, not made people wait overnight, even if it was just something basic with more details today. All waiting has done is ramped up the anger and damaged the willingness of people to help.

You have to remember people on here are different, just being here makes you different. For the ordinary person on the Conway street, they've been scared, they've had their children scared, they've made changes to their lives, they've given money (and in these times, that is no easy choice), they've gone out and searched. Now they're feeling like they've been taken for a ride, and people really really don't like that.

NECN livestream shows they've set up a photo of a bag. Oh, they have gone back to the podium now. It was a bulletin board w/ 2 things on it off to one side. The bottom thing was a large photo of a light colored bag, I believe.
