For some reason I can't pin down I'm thinking that this child was abducted from her home at night. By a stranger. Or at least not an adult that she knew well... Is it the FBI CARD unit who is working this case ? Hope she is found soon. MOO

Investigators Focus On Girl's Computer
UPDATED: 6:23 pm EDT July 27, 201

This article has video showing the home and the 2 people leaving with a blanket around them.

The reporter also says the attorney general has released a statement asking the public for any information on Celina's whereabouts in the last several days, "even before she was reported missing by her family."

"The attorney general's office said they are looking for any information on Celina's activities on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday."

Wow, when was this child actually last seen?

Stupid question, but in cases where they really do suspect a random stranger abduction do they typically tape off the house and usher the parents out under blankets?

Good questions, Darcyline... IDK but possibly the house is in fact a crime scene, if she was in fact abducted. Her abductor might well have left his dna... As to the parents ??? I know it seems like they might be involved right now. Just can't shake the idea that they aren't .... MOO

They are saying Monday night at 9pm July 25th in the home. When the step father went to wake her in the morning she was gone.

We need an independent sighting from others besides those who live in the house.

Not sure if this has been posted yet..

From your article:

"At midday Wednesday, about a mile north of town, five Fish and Game Department officers searched the woods behind an apartment. They carried bags and boxes, but it was unclear if they collected anything."

Did she visit someone in that apartment building?

If they have reason to believe the perp was inside the house, I would think they would want to tape off the house. (Abducted from her bedroom.....Elizabeth Smart)

However, I don't understand the parents being ushered out under blankets.

I thought I read somewhere that she lived in the apartment building...

Police have said that there's no indication she ran away or that someone took her, and there are no signs of a struggle.

Celina's disappearance did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert and wasn't considered suspicious, state police Sgt. Sheldon Belanger said.

I know states vary in Amber Alert rules, but really? No Amber alert here? And still they call her disappearance "suspicious" with no sign of abduction, no indication she ran away, no sign of struggle. Sounds like the family is under heavy suspicion.

Right but in a post above, LE is asking about Sunday as well...

I do not get the blanket thing either.

Looking at the photo, gives a whole different perspective of the parents being "ushered under blankets". It's not what I imagined. They're showing their faces and seem quite distraught. Mom could be in shock.

That was in the news etc I guess quoted by the parents. That is why SuziQ says we need an outsideopinion from others.

I agree. She could be in shock. When you see something like that, you just realize again that everyone grieves differently. Some moms march right up to the microphone and beg for help (Lauren Spierer's Mom, Laci Peterson's Mom, and innumerable others) and some people just can't pull it together to do anymore than just put one foot in front of the other and walk forward. It's all individual.

n/t if you watch the video of that as they walk away he completely covers the mothers face.

Can you point me to where the video is? I only see photos at the link. TIA
